Chapter 3:Encounter with Lena
Lin Fan found himself disoriented and pulled by a mysterious force,whooshing him into an unfamiliar place.Before he could grasp what was happening,a cacophony of sounds filled his ears.
"Dagu,what do you think we should do?"a clear female voice asked anxiously.
"I'm not sure,but we can't give up.There must be a way,"a familiar male voice replied firmly.
Lin Fan looked closely and realized it was Dagu and Lena.They were standing amidst the ruins,their faces etched with worry as they surveyed the devastation around them.Charred remains were scattered everywhere,with the smell of burnt wood lingering in the air,a pungent odor that suggested a catastrophic event had just occurred.
"Dagu?Lena?"Lin Fan called out in surprise.
Upon hearing his voice,Dagu and Lena turned to look at him,their expressions one of astonishment.
"Who are you?How did you get here?"Dagu asked warily.His gaze was tinged with suspicion and caution,as one would be in such a chaotic and dangerous situation with a stranger appearing out of the blue.
"I...my name is Lin Fan,and I'm here to help you,"Lin Fan said,scratching his head sheepishly.He understood that his sudden appearance was indeed hard to swallow.
"Help us?How can you help?Do you understand how serious the situation is?"Lena looked at Lin Fan skeptically.With her arms crossed,she scrutinized him,as if searching for any signs of deceit.
"Hehe,actually,I am Ultraman Tiga,"Lin Fan said with a smile,revealing the Spark Lens in his hand.The lens still shimmered with a faint,mysterious glow in the dim surroundings,as if to confirm his claim.
Dagu's eyes widened,thinking,"Something feels off,but I can't put my finger on it!"
Lena shared the same expression,her face a picture of disbelief.
"You're Ultraman Tiga?You must be joking!"Lena exclaimed loudly.Her voice echoed sharply in the silent ruins,carrying a hint of anger,as if Lin Fan was making light of their dire situation.
"I'm not joking,just watch!"Lin Fan said,raising the Spark Lens to transform.
However,after fumbling with the button for a while,nothing happened.
"Uh...there might have been a minor issue earlier,just a moment,"Lin Fan said awkwardly,inspecting the Spark Lens.Beads of sweat began to form on his forehead,his heart racing with anxiety,fearing that Dagu and Lena might take him for a fraud or a madman.
Dagu and Lena exchanged glances,both wearing expressions of helplessness.
"Could this guy be crazy?"Lena whispered,her brow furrowed with doubt.
"Let's wait and see,"Dagu replied in a hushed tone.Though skeptical,he decided to reserve judgment for the time being.
After a while,Lin Fan finally managed to transform into Ultraman Tiga,albeit with an even more bizarre pose,nearly falling flat on his face.He wobbled,nearly losing his balance on one foot,but managed to adjust just in time to complete the transformation.
"Wow,it really is Ultraman Tiga!"Dagu exclaimed in amazement.His face lit up with delight,his eyes gleaming with hope,as if he had seen a glimmer of salvation.
"This...How is this possible?"Lena's eyes widened in disbelief.She stood agape,stunned for a moment before regaining her senses.
Ultraman Tiga(Lin Fan)had just steadied himself when a peculiar-looking monster approached from the distance.The monster was covered in sharp spines that glistened menacingly in the sunlight,like daggers.Its eyes emitted an eerie green glow,exuding a sinister aura,and it growled deeply,the sound rolling like thunder,sending chills down one's spine.
"Humph,another monster.Let's see how I deal with you!"Lin Fan said confidently.He clenched his fists and charged at the monster,each step causing the ground to tremble slightly,carrying an imposing momentum.
He lunged forward,delivering a barrage of punches and kicks to the monster.However,the monster's hide was too thick;Lin Fan's attacks were like tickles.Each punch made a dull thud on the monster's tough exterior,leaving no mark,and failing to inflict any real damage.
"Ouch,this guy is so tough!"Lin Fan frowned,growing anxious.His eyes showed a hint of desperation and helplessness,not expecting the monster to be such a tough nut to crack.
The monster,enraged by Lin Fan's assault,lashed its tail,sweeping Lin Fan off his feet.The tail,like a thick steel whip,whistled through the air,striking Lin Fan with force.
"Ouch!"Lin Fan yelped,landing on his back.Lying on the ground,he felt pain throughout his body,dazed for a moment,not expecting the monster's counterattack to be so swift.
"Hahaha,with your skills,you think you can defeat me?"The monster spoke,mocking Lin Fan.Its voice was hoarse and grating,filled with smugness,as if it had already deemed itself the victor.
"You...don't get cocky!"Lin Fan stood up,indignant.He dusted off his clothes,his eyes igniting with rage,determined not to underestimate the monster anymore.
He recalled the various skills of Ultraman Tiga and decided to use his ultimate move.
