Chapter 4:Unleashed Chaos
Lin Fan,Dagu,and Lena were brimming with energy,ready to face new challenges,when suddenly the ground shook violently as if a colossal monster was about to break through the earth.The intensity of the tremors increased,making the solid ground feel like a raging sea,difficult to stand on.
"What's going on?Who's causing trouble now?"Lin Fan frowned,looking around for the source of the tremors,trying to strike a defensive pose he thought was cool,but almost lost his balance.His body swayed,arms flailing in the air before he managed to steady himself,looking both comical and urgent.
Two ferocious monsters emerged from the ground,strikingly similar with thick limbs and sharp claws that glinted coldly in the sunlight,like the scythes of death.Their mouths were filled with serrated teeth,each as sharp as needles,and they growled deeply,as if announcing their arrival to the world.One monster's eyes glowed with an eerie red light,like a burning flame of evil,while the other's eyes radiated a sinister green,like ghostly fires from the underworld,looking decidedly menacing.
"Whoa,two at once!"Lin Fan's eyes widened with a mix of tension and excitement."But no problem,we can take them together!"His voice trembled slightly but was filled with a determined spirit.
Dagu and Lena exchanged glances and nodded helplessly,thinking how optimistic Lin Fan was.They knew the appearance of these two monsters meant a tough battle was about to begin,but his enthusiasm gave them a bit more courage.
As soon as the monsters appeared,they began to wreak havoc on the surrounding buildings.With each swing of their massive claws,they created gusts of wind,leaving devastation in their wake.Skyscrapers collapsed under their attacks like blocks of积木,the deafening sounds of collapse filling the air,and dust filled the sky,making breathing difficult,as if the whole world was shrouded in a dark dust storm.
"We can't let them continue this destruction!"Dagu shouted,charging forward.His figure shot towards the monsters like an arrow,his eyes filled with resolute determination.
Lin Fan and Lena were not to be outdone,following closely behind Dagu.Lin Fan lunged at one of the monsters,kicking it with all his might.However,the monster's hard shell deflected his foot,causing him to grimace in pain,hopping on one foot and crying out.The pain shot through him like an electric current,making him gasp.
"Ouch,my foot!This monster's shell is as hard as iron!"Lin Fan rubbed his foot,complaining.His brows were furrowed,his face a picture of agony.
Dagu and Lena couldn't help but laugh at Lin Fan's predicament.
"Lin Fan,are you alright?"Lena asked with a smile,her expression teasing but concerned.
"I'm fine,I can keep fighting!"Lin Fan gritted his teeth,enduring the pain.His eyes reignited with combative spirit;although his foot still ached,he had no intention of backing down.
Dagu,on the other hand,was nimbly evading the other monster's attacks and counterattacking.He leaped up and punched the monster in the face,his fist carrying a powerful force that made the monster retreat a few steps,leaving shallow imprints on the ground.
"Good job,Dagu!"Lin Fan exclaimed excitedly,"Watch me now!"
With that,Lin Fan charged again,this time smarter,not attacking blindly but circling behind the monster to find its weak point.His steps were light and swift,like a nimble cheetah,weaving around the monster.
"Humph,there's nowhere to run!"Lin Fan muttered,looking for an opportunity.
Suddenly,he noticed a slightly different colored scale on the monster's back,seemingly its weak spot.The scale was duller than the rest,as if hiding a secret.
"Right there!"Lin Fan's eyes brightened,and with a shout,he put all his strength into a punch on that scale.
"Ouch!"The monster roared in pain,its body shaking.It trembled violently,as if severely injured,and its steps became unsteady.
"Haha,got it!"Lin Fan danced with joy,forgetting he was still in battle.His face was full of joy,immersed in this small victory.
At that moment,the other monster suddenly rushed over and bit Lin Fan's arm.The sharp teeth pierced his arm,and a sharp pain shot through him,making him scream and struggle.His arm felt like it was clamped in a hot vise,unbearably painful.
Dagu and Lena saw Lin Fan being bitten and rushed to help.Dagu grabbed the monster's head,pulling back with all his strength,his arms tightly around the monster's skull,muscles taut,exerting all his might.Lena attacked the monster's eyes with her weapon,trying to make it let go.Her weapon shimmered with a faint light,each swing accurately targeting the monster's eyes.
With their efforts,the monster finally released its bite,and Lin Fan took the opportunity to escape.His arm bore deep tooth marks,blood slowly seeping out,staining a part of his sleeve red.
"Phew...that was close!"Lin Fan panted,still shaken.His eyes showed a hint of fear;that moment was too dangerous.
"Be careful,these two monsters ar
