Chapter 11 - WHEN WILL IT BE PERFECT

Allen wasn't sure what to do. He squatted down and stroked her hair back.

"I don't want to believe you are Allen Christian," she bit her lips.

"I apologize for keeping this secret from you. I will take care of you from now on. You are my daughter."

"Ha! Daughter? How old are you?"

"Why are you curious?"

"You are not more than 7 years older than me."

"Mr. Alonso, please leave us!" Allen was pissed. He wanted to act like a father. It didn't suit him, and Kaylee didn't think she could cooperate. She was falling for him.

"You know what? Just leave. I will feel better. I can't stand living with a 25-year-old who expects me to call him dad," Kaylee lamented.

"I did not ask you to call me dad. That's why I told you my name is Allen. Allen, not Dad. Act mature. It could help you better!"

That word "help you better" baffled her.

"Were you the one?" she said.

"I don't understand."

"Were you the one that saved me from those jërks that night?"

"Oh, it's now you realize? Your mother told me to take care of you whenever she travels, so that's why I intervened."

"So, you had been watching me?"

"Yeah."

"I am sure you are glad. Mom leaving..."

"What!"

"Shhhh. Mom is fïlthy rich. You can live without working for 20 years and not stàrve."

"I didn't marry her for the møney."

"So, you loved her?"

"Yes."

"You think I'd believe you? Mom was like your sügar mommy."

"You are such a bràt."

"Didn't mother tell you?"

"Yes, she told me, but I know how to handle bràts. That's why I didn't care much."

Kaylee hissed and walked away.

"My family is coming to greet you," he shouted.

"Tell them to go ** each other," she yelled back.

"Jeez! How blunt and unpleasant!" He went to the bar corner and poured himself a drink. "This is war," he drank!

"And I was busy imagining kïssing his lips," Kaylee murmured to herself and sat on her bed. "Yück! That's bad," she bit her lip. "I can't accept the fact he is my dad. I started developing strange feelings for that jêrk! I hope it wears

off."
