Chapter 7 - WHEN WILL IT BE PERFECT?

The urge to go confront the peeper weakened when she found out it was him.

She smiled. She liked it, kind of.

Her heart fluttered. She was falling for that man. "He is too old for me; I shouldn't think far," she said to herself and smiled widely.

She started imagining how it would be kissing his fancy pink lips. She had never kissed a real man before, but she had kissed Daddy.

"Oh, Daddy!" She exclaimed and ran upstairs for her cell phone.

"The number you are trying to call cannot be reached—"

It was so unpleasant to hear.

"Daddy is not yet in Nigeria," she muttered. "He must be spending his vacation with his new wife and the little cute daughter," she added and then sniffed. "How could he leave Nigeria without telling me? It is heartbreaking. I wonder when he'll be back," she sniffed again and laid on the bed.

Flashes of the handsome man played in her head, then she jumped off the bed and went to open the window, hoping to see the handsome peeper. He was there, as if he had been waiting for her, or was he monitoring her? Maybe he was an angel sent from heaven to protect her. Then she recalled last night, the masked guy.

"Both voices rhyme," she compared both voices.

She was really eager to know who he was and who the masked guy was.

"Why did he not tell me how he knew my name?" That troubled her. "What is he?" she asked herself. "How come he knows so much about me when I do not recognize him?"

She kept analyzing until—

"Are you alright?" he shouted at the top of his voice.

"Yeah—I am fine!" she shouted back.

He waved her goodbye, and so did she. Then he closed his window.

"Allen, Allen, Allen, why does it ring a bad bell?" Kaylee asked herself.
