The ride from the castle to the training ground was short. The maid helped Abrielle step out of the carriage, and her eyes were drawn to the men training. They were all dripping sweat as they continued doing some endurance training that seemed to be tasking, and naturally, her evil husband was overseeing everyone.
It was close to noon so the weather was not chilly since the sun was already up. Cedric was dressed in his training outfit while he oversaw the entire process with his second-in-command, Elias, screaming out orders.
His long black hair that grew past his shoulders was left to cascade like the night; he stood tall and proud with his hand folded against his chest. All his attention was solely on the knights who, despite sweating so much, didn't seem tired in the least way.
