Cedric approached her unconscious body to check her condition. "Should I get the physician?" A maid immediately asked running over to his side.
He clicked her tongue in annoyance. She was one annoying fly. "I will take care of her myself." He dismissed the maid and reached out to carry his troublesome wife in his arms towards the accommodations.
He arrived at the room and placed her on the bed. Her condition was very bad, and Cedric sensed it from the deck, but he refused the physician attending to her because to treat her, they would have to pull off her clothes.
The only physical on board was a man who attended to his soldiers. Cedric didn't like the thought of another man seeing her bare skin. The thought repulsed him; if she was treated by a physician, it would take longer to heal.
