After word spread about the dungeon in the forest of indica killing many scouts and silver star adventurers, the leaders of the three nations decided to order a group of 100 soldiers of various strengths along with 50 civilians to build a fortified settlement for them to prepare a massive assault on the dungeon and take it down in one swoop.
Using magic and various magic items the settlement was easily built in a few hours, but consumed a large chuck of their resources. The king ordered the settlement to get a lay of the land then make a full assault after a few days.
All was well till the king got word of an attack, a skeletal wolf charging for the front gate and killing two weaker guards.
As the people where recovering from a slight scare and two deaths explosions burst from the settlement centre, as the explosions stop a demon decends from the sky and killing people till all one hundred guards surround the demon and swiftly take it out.
The humans survey the damage and in the end the king decides to send one of his few gold star soldiers.
This soldier is known as Lightning flash, one of the few humans who can use magic and is talented in swordsmanship. He utilises lighting element magic to enhance his speed and add extra damage to his attacks. Due to his increadible speed stat he is able to fight on equal footing with those who have two or even three gold stars.
As Lightning flash arrives at the settlement he quickly organises a small group of eight silver star soldiers to raid the dungeon.
Marching to the dungeon entrance with Lightning flash leading a group of four eight silver star soldiers. Arriving at the entrance Lightning flash yells "We humans will show the enemy that we are nothing to toy with, the assaults on our settlement may be caused by this dungeon or something else but nonetheless we must destroy this dungeon before its strength becomes among the top dungeons in the world." After his speech he raises his sword, resulting in all the soldiers raising there swords with a roar.
With their spirits raised they enter the dungeon, seeing a large maze made of perfect stone bricks. Only for them to gather themselves for a second before the floor under them falls into a pit covered in spikes. Lightning flash managed to doge the trap but his soldiers fell into the pit being stabbed by the many spikes. They slowly scramble out of the trap.
"Be careful of traps! We must continue forward." Lightning flash yells, throwing healing potions to the soldiers.
They continue to move forward slowly allowing them to disarm traps, Lightning flash quickly killing the small groups of slimes in a matter of seconds.
They quickly make it to the boss room, they take a break at the boss door making sure to recover their stamina and health.
After an hour they head into the boss room and just like before swiftly kills the boss, shortly after they find themselves in a large white marble room. A large crystal floats in the centre, looking around Lightning flash sees a demon ready to attack with its large spear, a human in a black robe holding a staff made of bones and a human like figure at the back. Lightning flash looks at the strength of the three figures in front of them and sweat drips down his forehead, seeing that the demon has two gold stars and the old man in robes has one gold stars and six silver stars.
He quickly draws his sword and looks around for an escape, fear floods him as he doesn't see any doors in the room. "Soldiers we may die here but continue fighting till your last breath!" Lightning flash yells, quickly charging at the demon.
The demon's slow movements are easy to read for lightning flash but still he can't land a fatal blow.
The demon covers his spear in fire causing the area to heat up and his movements become faster. As Lightning flash gets more into the fight he feels bursts of heat come from behind him. Turning his head he sees all four of his soldiers on the ground covered in fire.
With anger he continues to attack the demon, he swiftly strikes the demon in the chest killing it quickly, as he pulls his sword out of the demon's dead body he faces the two other figures and charges at them.
A surge of pain floods his body as he looks behind to see the demon stab him in the back.
"But how I killed you?" Lightning flash says weakly as blood splutters from his mouth.
Clay walks forward "You may be strong but we have the ability to completely recover someone from death. Thanks for the challenge we will now destroy that human settlement and move our way through the rest of the kingdom of light." Clay says with a grin.
Lightning flash quickly fades and dies, his limp body falling to the ground. Clay quickly grabs all of the magic items and gear from his body. Looking at his spoils.
