Chapter 13 - Wrath’s mission

After leaving the dungeon Wrath makes his way to the destroyed human settlement. Ensuring there where no remaining humans he enters the destroyed settlement.

He carefully looks around to find the corpses of the strongest humans. He finds seven, eight star soldier corpses and using his raise skeleton skill the bones begin to stand and rattle as they put themselves back together.

Now having a small group if soldiers for defence and offence Wrath heads south to see if there are any other human settlements, walking through the forest being careful of any pathways that look to be well trodden. Following the path from a distance he arrives at the forests edge after a few hours. Looking around there is a small village, as the sun is now setting Wrath quickly orders his seven skeleton soldiers to make their way to the village and kill all the humans. He keeps an eye on the skeletons as they race through the village's measly walls. The skeletons swords and armour clanging as they swiftly kill 200 civilians and 30 soldiers, with only two skeletons remaining Wrath walks into the village that's now covered in blood and bodies but the infrastructure of the village buildings still in tack.

Wrath orders the two skeletons to keep watch of the village as he goes around collecting any rare resources and materials. Only finding two magic crystals and a small crate of mage wood, a mystical wood from a rare tree that decreases the amount of mana needed for spells.

He returns to the dungeon in an instant. "Master I have returned, I managed to take over an entire village of humans. I also found two magic crystals and a crate of rare mage wood." Wrath says as he places his finds infront of him.

"You've done well to bring 1308 souls to us. I will look at this loot and prepare a reward for you. I need to ask if you think building a defensive outpost that we can fill with skeletons for you to control from a distance, would be beneficial to us?" Clay announces.

"Master I don't see an issue with that, since it won't cost us any resources if it was to fail there would be no problems with it. Although with my current strength I would be unable to make this happen anytime soon." Wrath responds.

"I see… let me fix that issue then as your reward. Blacksmith! Can you make a staff out of this mage wood, a soul crystal and some of the gemstones for Wrath?" Clay yells out.

"Master can do! I'll make the best weapon I can! Although magic weapons will be able to be made stronger with an enchanter." The blacksmith yells from a distance.

Clay then goes into his menu, to level up Wrath.

Clay decides to level up Wrath to level 10 by spending 4480 souls, quickly leaving him with 250 souls.

Respawn: The dungeon they live in can bring them back to life.

Evolution: this being can evolve and ascend.

Level 10 raise skeleton: Can raise ten skeleton monsters from a dead monster. Once per day. Costs 90 mana.

Level 10 death protection: ten times a day the user can prevent the death of a target including themselves.

Level 10 death fog: creates a gas that covers a 55 meter radius of the user. Foes in the fog have all of their stats halved. Costs 45 mana.

Level 7 Skeleton Enhancment: Skeletons raised by the user increase their level by seven.

Telepathy: Can communicate over a long distance with anyone they know who concent.

With a large increase in power Wrath now able to communicate with everyone even when out of the dungeon Clay feels comfortable letting him build up the village for a defensive vantage point.

"Wrath, once your new weapon is complete go build up that village. Kill any humans and elves that you come across and if you happen across dwarves try your best to enslave them if not kill them." Clay says.

"Yes master!" Wrath says as he quickly heads back to his dungeon floor.

Clay walks over to the workshop, "hey! I need you to make me a weapon. I want a dagger made of the strongest metal you can, and utilising this magic crystal, a soul crystal and the mage wood. That doable?" Clay asks as he places a Level 3 Boss Hobgoblin magic crystal on the blacksmiths desk.

"Absolutely master give me a few days to get all this done!" The blacksmith says as he quickly gets back to work.

Clay takes the last gic crystal and looks at it, Level 1 Shadow-Steel Wolf magic crystal. Excited Clay quickly absorbs the crystal, shortly after hearing "You have absorbed a Level 1 Shadow-steel magic crystal. You have increased in strength by 3 copper stars. You have gained a skill." His assistant says.

Dungeon Controller: can build a dungeon and control its functions.

Soul Core: can only be killed if their Heath hits zero and their soul core is destroyed (a giant gemstone that is placed in their dungeon) (spirit only skill)

Evolution: this being can evolve and ascend.

Level 1 lighting weapon: covers the user's weapon in lightning, dealing an extra 10 lightning damage.

Level 1 recovery: converts Mana into Health to heal the user. 1 mana becomes 1 health.

Shadow movement: The user can move into shadows and move around in them to make for quicker movements.

Allows the user to drain mana from targets to recover their mana faster.

"I need to start harvesting more souls." Clay whispers to himself.
