As Clay opens his eyes he sees a giant room around him made of pristine white marble.
Clay remembers a conversation he had before he woke up…
"You'll awake in a room within your dungeon. You can't leave the dungeon as you are bound by your soul core. You will need to grow in strength before you can leave your dungeon. Kill more humans, elves and dwarves to grow strong. Using your soul core you can build and grow your dungeon using souls as the cost. Remember if you go below 1 soul you will die if your Health hits zero."
That's the last and only thing he remembers. He looks around the marble room and sees a giant red floating crystal. Walking up to it as he places his hand on it he sees his stats.
Clay Noro

Dungeon Controller: can build a dungeon and control its functions.
Soul Core: can only be killed if their Heath hits zero and their soul core is destroyed (a giant gemstone that is placed in their dungeon) (spirit only skill)
Evolution: this being can evolve and ascend.
He continues through the screen seeing many options. Choosing the grow dungeon option a few other options appear.
1. Summon Aid/Minion
2. Build floor
3. Summon monsters
4. Upgrade soul core
5. Evolve
6. Structures
He selects summon Aid/Minion and quickly many options appear in front of him but many are locked as he doesn't have enough souls. looking at the 1 soul options he can see;
Golem Core: summon a core that you can use materials gathered to make a golem to serve you.
Seeker: summon a small eyeball that can move around the dungeon at will and turn invisible. You can see using the eyeball like normal.
Clay noting these down but going back to the previous options. Wanting to build a floor to his dungeon, many options appear in front of him this time only showing him what he can afford;
Stone maze: a maze like continuous corridors, perfect for traps and small monster that don't require an ecosystem.
Boss room: a giant room that can only hold 1 creature but boosts the creature's stats and skills and gives invaders a debuff depending on the creature inside. This room's ecosystem depends on the previous floor's ecosystem.
Cave maze: a giant cave system that makes a maze difficult for invaders to follow. Perfect for traps and monsters that need a cave ecosystem.
Clay decides to build a stone maze, as he picks it he hears a voice.
"Good morning Clay, I will be your dungeon assistant. I have built the stone maze free of charge for you as this is your first purchase but I can't do this again. I have also placed the entrance to your dungeon randomly in the world. You can buy more entrances later on. Please let me know if you need any assistance or have any questions."
As the voice fades Clay notices that the number of souls he has didn't go down. He then looks at the summon monsters option;
"Monsters summoned this way will respawn after spending 1 soul or waiting 24 hours. Each monster has different needs so be careful about what you build."
Clay looks at the options carefully;
Blue slime
Ecosystem: None
Cost 1 soul each
2 copper stars
After seeing that there is only one option he buys a blue slime. His souls drop to zero.
He then says out loud "assistant lady do you have a name?"
Almost instantly he hears "My name is just Assistant. Now that your souls have reached zero you will need to wait till your monster has killed someone to gain a soul. You will gain 1 soul for every copper star the invader killed had. Silver stars give 12 souls. Gold stars give 125 souls and diamond stars give 13000 souls. You can also leave the dungeon once you have 2 silver stars. Another way to get souls is to build a free soul generator which produces 1 soul every 24 hours."
Clay then goes into the structures option and sees a singular option;
Soul generator: produces one soul every 24 hours. Can be upgraded. Does not produce souls when you leave the dungeon.
Clay quickly choses to build it and with a flash of light a mechanical box appears in the corner of the room. He can see gears click and steam blow from the top as the occasional small particle float into a small crystal in the front of it.
