Chapter 7 - Set a trap

Vanya dressed carefully the next day, choosing an outfit that would make her look attractive but not too revealing. She left the house, catching a glimpse of Elena following her out of the corner of her eye. But Vanya pretended not to see, knowing that Elena was just trying to spy on her.

As she walked to the meeting spot, Vanya's heart began to pound with anxiety. She was going to have to face Emrys, the man who had caused her so much pain and suffering in her past life. She felt a wave of fear wash over her, but she pushed it aside, knowing that she had to keep up the act.

When she saw Emrys waiting for her, Vanya forced a smile onto her face. She walked over to him, trying to look confident and carefree. But inside, she was seething with anger and fear.

"Hey, Emrys," she said, trying to sound casual. "I'm so glad we could meet up."

Emrys smiled back at her, his eyes gleaming with a possessive light. "I'm glad too, Vanya," he said, his voice low and husky. "I've missed you so much."

Vanya felt a shiver run down her spine as Emrys reached out to touch her. She knew that she had to tell him about her engagement, about the fact that she was being forced to marry another man. She took a deep breath and launched into the story, trying to sound as convincing as possible.

"Emrys, I have to tell you something," she said, her voice trembling. "My dad is forcing me to get married to a wealthy crippled man. I don't want to do it, but I have no choice."

Emrys' face fell, and he looked at her with a mixture of sadness and anger. "Vanya, no," he said, his voice full of protest. "You can't marry someone else. You're mine."

Vanya felt a surge of fear at Emrys' words, but she pushed it aside, knowing that she had to keep up the act. She smiled and reached out to touch Emrys' face, trying to look as convincing as possible.

"I'm sorry, Emrys," she said, her voice soft. "I really am. But I have no choice."

Emrys sighed and pulled her into a hug, holding her tightly. Vanya felt a wave of revulsion wash over her, but she didn't pull away, knowing that she had to keep up the act.

As they hugged, Emrys offered her a drink, and Vanya stared at it warily. She knew that she shouldn't trust Emrys, not after everything he had done to her in her past life. But she also knew that she had to keep up the act, that she had to make Emrys believe that she was still in love with him.

So she took the drink and gulped it all down, trying to look as convincing as possible. Emrys smiled and hugged her again, holding her tightly. Vanya felt a wave of fear wash over her, but she pushed it aside, knowing that she had to keep up the act.

As Emrys led Vanya to his hotel room, she couldn't help but feel a sense of déjà vu. She had been in this situation before, and she knew exactly what was going to happen. Emrys was going to try to take advantage of her, just like he had in her past life.

But Vanya was not going to let that happen again. She had a plan, and she was determined to see it through.

As they entered the hotel room, Emrys offered Vanya a seat on the couch. "I'll just be a minute," he said, smiling at her. "I need to get something from the bedroom."

Vanya smiled softly, remembering this scene from her past life. She knew that Emrys had drugged her drink, and that the effects would soon start to kick in. Or so he thought.

"I'm so sorry, Emrys," Vanya said, standing up suddenly. "I think I left my purse in the car. I'll just be a minute, okay?"

Emrys looked at her in surprise, but he nodded. "Okay, sure. I'll be here."

Vanya smiled and turned to leave, but not before catching Emrys' eye and holding it for a moment. She knew that he thought he had her right where he wanted her, but she was about to turn the tables.

As she left the hotel room, Vanya took a deep breath and let her plan unfold. She knew that Emrys would try to take advantage of her, but she was ready for him.

In a few minutes, the hotel room door opened again, but this time it was dark. The person who entered tried to turn on the light, but it wouldn't work. Suddenly, muffled moans of pleasure and screams were heard, and it sounded like someone was being attacked.

But Vanya knew that it was all just a ruse. She had set a trap for Emrys, and now he was the one who was caught. She smiled to herself as she listened to the sounds coming from the hotel room. Emrys was getting exactly what he deserved.
