Chapter 1 - the first currency

Aniket sat silently with the window, looking out at the outside world as early morning rays penetrated through the trees. It was silent outside in the world but a world of unrest inside it was far from his tranquility. The family with apparently ordinary members was embarking on a journey taking them to an unmanageable height of their reach. They were to lead their lives according to a new system that was to create and define their destiny by writing many un-understood ways into their future.

At the heart of this system was a currency, flowing through his family like lifeblood. But that currency was anything but. It was, in fact much more profound: every one of his family members accrued a unit of currency, each second of every minute, in each hour and every day; it was very simple—a unit of currency every second—yet its repercussions went far and beyond the mere boundaries of mortals.

The family had five subbranches. There was a subbranch for his mother, for his father, for his brother, for his sister, and one for himself. All of them earned their currency separately, so all of them gained at the same pace. Yet, there was something about Aniket's position in this arrangement. He was different from the others.

Aniket had a strange advantage. His accumulation of currency was 100 times more than anything his family member would ever be able to produce. He earned 100 units in one second, and his family earned only one every two seconds. Of course, the number was not a parameter of consideration. Wherever he bought or brought forth any thing, its quality was 100 times better. While his mother, father, brother, and sister bought lands, tools, or technology, Aniket was buying something of a superior quality. For them, what might seem advanced could be a mere piece of technology, but for Aniket, it was revolutionary.

This brought their wealth exponentially, and this was just the beginning. Aniket knew that their future wasn't in reckless spending but cautious accumulation. His family had always been careful, and it is this caution that had been guiding them to this point. With years, the currency they were earning increased as well. It wasn't a matter of time or anything—it was a careful progression.

The money from the family was increasing every year. For each decade, they added on much more. And by the end of the century, their money would reach the astronomical level. Along with this wealth comes responsibility, which the Aniket family understood.

They had long learned that the world they lived in was no ordinary place. It was a world ruled by laws far more potent than those they might ever hope to face. Laws of nature, of time, of space-all of them constantly in a flux of change, evolutions of action nobody could ever hope to guess. And such an unstable world demanded caution in every thing they did.

This was the first move in an orchestrated technological leap. It was a matter of fact that technology would take the future, and for Aniket, it simply meant that this was the door opening towards his inevitable transcendence. Technological glory was its own poison; every choice and investment made counted. No mistake could be tolerated. Everything was just too crucial.

Aniket glanced at his family members, each one busy with their own tasks. His mother, always the voice of reason, was discussing financial strategy with his father. His brother, a gifted engineer, was studying blueprints for new tech, while his sister meticulously checked every financial record. They worked in harmony, their roles clearly defined, but always aware of the need for careful management.

His mother smiled at him as Aniket sat with them at the table. "It is time, Aniket," she whispered. "We have gathered enough. It is time to start to make a change in this world. We must but must be careful as ever."

Aniket nodded, his mind spinning. The family was at the juncture now. They had gained the resources to get going, but much more needed to be considered. How would they navigate through the always-changing market? How would they ensure their technology was still ahead of the rest yet did not overstep what it was meant to be?

"We'll work on technology," Aniket said, his voice even. "But we will take it step by step. Every move has to be calculated. Every move has to be strategic. We can't risk anything unnecessary."

His father, always the planner, said, "We must be prepared for the unknown. The world is changing. Technology is going to be huge in the future, but we cannot rush. Each step must be measured."

They sat still for a moment, contemplating the road ahead; it was not an easy one, but one they each of them would walk together, cautiously and with purpose.

Outside, the world was just going about its merry business, unaware of the quiet revolution brewing within the walls of their house. But Aniket knew this was only the beginning. They had the currency, they had the advantage, and they had the vision. And now, they would enter into the future—stepping cautiously, with all their potential weight at their back.

Now he had earned his first hard currency. The first mile was run. From then on, every passing of the second, every passing decision, every move into action would decide what will be in the store of Aniket and the family. They were never only mortals. Something a lot bigger was just next to them.

The world had changed. And with a level-headedness and a visionary dream to change it, they too would shape it.
