Jaden Yan's appearance was like a pillow delivered right when Jenny Ye needed it. Stranded midway, she was worrying when Jaden Yan drove by. Their previous encounters had already made her feel quite comfortable around him.
Happily getting into the car, she briefly glanced at the interior before focusing on Jaden Yan's slightly rugged face. "What a coincidence! Is this our chance encounter?"
"Seems like it. Just lucky, I guess," Jaden Yan replied with a slight smile while driving.
"Yes, very lucky. Without you, I'd either walk back or end up stranded."
Jenny Ye curiously observed Jaden Yan, noticing he seemed indifferent to her beauty. While he appeared serious, he was actually hoping Jenny Ye would ask more questions, giving him the chance to hook up with her.
"Do you believe in fate? Like, these encounters might be fate's way of wanting us to get to know each other?" Jenny Ye shyly asked after several glances at him.
Usually, men would say this to her, but now she found herself saying it to him.
"Fate? Maybe. But I believe more in making things happen." Jaden Yan responded calmly.
Without his careful planning, he might have believed in fate. Thinking of these things, he felt a bit worried about Sherry Nie being out and potentially falling into someone's trap.
"Heh... You're different. You seem like a hardworking man!" Jenny Ye covered her mouth and laughed. Then she asked seriously, "Your name is Jaden Yan, right? Do you remember my name?"
"Jenny Ye. Of course, I remember such a beautiful lady." Jaden Yan replied with a smile.
"How old are you? Where do you work?" Jenny Ye asked curiously.
"What? Checking my background? Afraid I'll kidnap you?" Jaden Yan joked, glancing at her.
"No... Just making conversation, getting to know each other. This is our second encounter." Jenny Ye explained, shaking her head.
"Twenty-eight, as I said before, I work in trade. I have an overseas trade company." After a pause, Jaden Yan responded, different from the identity he discussed with Luna Zhou, making himself more attractive to Jenny Ye.
"So young and already have your own company? Impressive. Do you have a girlfriend? Or are you married?" Jenny Ye asked, looking around the car's interior.
This question made Jaden Yan frown slightly, wondering how Jenny Ye was judging. Was she just trying to probe his relationship status?
"Why do you think I have a girlfriend or am married?" After thinking, Jaden Yan asked.
"Simple. The car's interior is quite feminine. I guess you don't drive it often, or it belongs to someone else? Are you a rich second generation?" Jenny Ye blinked.
Hearing this, Jaden Yan felt a bit startled. She was more cautious and observant than he expected. It wouldn't be easy to fool her. If he slipped up, his efforts would be wasted.
Also, he felt a bit annoyed, having overlooked the fact that the car belonged to Luna Zhou, which left some traces of her.

"First, I'm not a rich second generation. I built everything myself. Secondly, this car is mine. I lent it to my sister recently and haven't had time to clean it. Want to see my registration?" Jaden Yan explained without looking back.
"Really? I was just saying. No need to be so serious. I didn't know you had a sister. Real sister?"
Jenny Ye was just making conversation, not serious.
Relieved, Jaden Yan thought if she insisted on seeing the registration, he couldn't show it. He could only show his driver's license. "My cousin. She borrowed it for a road trip during her company's break."
He made up a lie.
"Ah, what car did you drive recently? Are you also going to the resort for a vacation?" Jenny Ye asked many questions.
"Are you investigating me? Admit it, are you a spy sent by the Monkey King?" Jaden Yan joked, pretending to be annoyed.
"Heh, no. I'm just curious. I find you interesting and want to know more. And I'm not from the Monkey King; I'm from the White Bone Spirit!" Jenny Ye laughed, continuing the joke.
"Alright, since we're both not human, I'll tell you. I have another car. This isn't my work car. I'm also checking out the resort to host foreign clients." Jaden Yan nodded seriously, playing along.
"Heh, you're a monster, I'm just a spirit. Don't get it wrong. Seems like your company does international trade?" Jenny Ye laughed heartily.
"Sort of. We have some foreign business. What about you? What are you doing at the resort?" Jaden Yan asked casually.
After getting familiar, Jenny Ye was more cheerful than her appearance suggested.
He compared her to Luna Zhou and Sherry Nie. Luna Zhou felt unreasonable and fierce, while Sherry was gentle and passionate.
After a while, they arrived at Xuhai Resort.
The resort was impressive, occupying a mountainside. Despite the desolate surroundings, they built a grand road up the mountain.
Halfway up was the reception. After parking, they were greeted by staff who helped with registration.
"How about having dinner together? We're both new here. It's good to have someone familiar around," Jenny Ye invited on the way to their rooms.
"Sure." Jaden Yan agreed calmly, stopping at the room door.
"Sir, this is your room. Miss, yours is next door." The staff politely opened the doors.
"Uh? Our rooms are next to each other?" Jenny Ye asked in surprise.
The resort was booked according to client orders. She won her stay, so what about Jaden Yan? Did he book right after her?
