Far, far, far away. On a barren land with scorching heat. A war takes place, a holy war. A war between the divine realm and the under realm. Gods and Devils clash over this land.
The sky is colored crimson similar to blood. Smoke is seen rising on the battlefield that is thousands of meters wide. Divine soldier and gods are battling devils and demons. Soldiers of the Divine Realm include Valkyries made of females, Divine guards made of only men and holy knights which is mixed. The demon army is made of beasts, it's hard to tell them apart so some are beasts, others humanoid and most in between. High in the sky a battle is raging.
NOTICE: PERSPECTIVE SWITCH TO VALKYRIE CAPTAIN (LEVEL: 76)
"Arrrgghhh!" Captain swings her sword down as she slices a demon in 2. She turns using her shield to attack a demon behind her, she's surrounded on all sides. She glows with a bright light as the demons are hurt from it. She flies forward into a squad of demons using ranged attacks. They throw lightening and fireballs at her as she evades every one of them until she reaches them. She slices the 2 before her as she kicks one in the face. One of the demons move behind her about to stab her but a light arrow struck the demon in the eye from another Valkyrie.
Valkyrie1 approaches her, "Captain! We have to fall back!" she fires 2 more arrows killing 3 demons as 1 got 2. The Captain glances at Valkyrie1, "We have to hold on till reinforcements arrive!" The Captain raises her shield as she blocks many barrages of attacks. Valkyrie1 flies to evade, then she gathers EP in her bow as a big arrow forms. She flies up and fires it causing an explosion in the midst of the demons attacking.
Valkyrie1 turns to the captain, "Captain! There are no reinforcements! *TCKSHHH* ARCHK!" an attack pierced Valkyrie 1's left arm ripping it off.
The Captain is flustered but recovers to aid her, "Get behind me!" Captain shields Valkyrie1 speaking, "What do you mean no reinforcements?!" she keeps blocking as Valkyrie1 uses her right hand to fire spells at the enemies that try to flank them, "Urgh. The divine guards got ambushed, they were up against a devil." She grunts in pain.
The captain is shocked, "A devil? Tch, this is bad…." Captain looks around her as 4 more Valkyries come to support her, "Damn it! ALL FORCES WITHDRAW! Use the Divine portals! THE WOUNDED FIRST! That means you." She glances at Vlakyrie1. The Valkyries fall back as they make series of portals behind them. Some protect the portals making sure no demons enter as the wounded enters first. In a few minutes all the Valkyries leave. They suffered heavy casualties, so did the demons but they had it worse.
They arrive in the divine realm beaten and sad over the results of the battle. The divine land is vast as a grass land. The Pantheon of gods could be seen in the distance with its big dome and other Pantheons in the distance. A god appears before them, a demi-god to be precise, "Look at you, nothing but disappointments!" The demi-god kicks the captain in the face as she rolls over bleeding. She bows after regaining her posture but the god raises her hand to hit another Valkyrie.
The Valkyrie Captain pleads, "Goddess, please spare my people." The Valkyrie captain wants to protect her people, "I'll accept any punishment fo-" a spear pierces her but she still lives. They've been warned to not make a sound whenever they're beaten. The goddess storms off, "Useless trash." The Valkyries wait for the goddess to be out of sight before rushing over to their captain.
"Captain! Captain! Hold on….." Valkyries go to assist her with worried looks trying to heal her. The wound is caused by a divine weapon and it wasn't meant to kill her but make her suffer. She fainted shortly due to pain.
A FEW MOMENTS EARLIER
On another part of the earth over the seas, a battle is occurring there. Ships are being used to fly low above the sea. The ships are fast, they seemed to be moving in a hurry. The ships are being used by the Divine Guards, the ships are big and about 50 or more ships.
NOTICE: PERSPECTIVE SWITCH TO GUARD CAPTAIN (LEVEL: 73)
"AMBUSH!!" A Guard yells, aquatic demons jumped from the sea onto the ships ready to kill.
A voice commands across the ships, "KILL THESE SONS O' BITCHES!!" the Captain takes his sword as he jumps from the top deck killing a demon in the process of landing. He wields a single blade(katana) each swing killing a demon. The other guards are also fighting hard, they weren't weaker than the Valkyries in the least. The Valkyries had wings which allowed them to fight in the air but these guys were pure power. A guard picks a demon, he pulls the head off its torso and he tosses the body back into the sea.
*BOOOM BOOOOM BOOOOM* the ships shake heavily and comes to a standstill on the sea. "Captain! The engines are down!" Helmsman/Guard notifies the captain.
The Captain's face darkens, "GRRR, FOCUS ON THE DEMONS!" The Captain orders. The guards stop piloting the ships as they all focus on the demons, "Damn it all, we've got to reach the Valkyries and fast." He moves his head back as an arrow passes right before his helmet leaving sparks right before his eyes. He swings his katana in the direction as a blade energy leaves the sword and slashed the demon in two halves.
One guard is using a big rock(hammer-rock thingy) that is turning demons into paste. Some guards are also dying as they are surrounded and killed by the demons.
The captain notices the losses, "3rd DEFENSIVE FORMATIONS!!" The Captain orders. The guards group together into 5 as 4 focus on protecting 1 while the 1 uses healing and support skills to help. This formation is effective as it has helped them a lot in situations that left them outnumbered. They fought for hours until the managed to kill all the demons on all the ships.
A guard notifies the captain, "Captain, the demons in the sea are retreating." the guard, captain obvious, reports to the captain of the guards, "Captain, we just got word that the Valkyries have retreated." Another soldier reports. There was silence on all the ships as they waited.
The captain sighs, "We're going back to the Divine realm." Captain looks depressed as he walks off to his chamber on the ship, he goes and lies on his bed trying to sleep. They manage to return to the divine realm through one of the gateways. They are at a port in the divine realm docking.
The captain gets off the ship, "I'm going to report to the gods, make sure the wounded are taken care of." He starts to walk.
"Captain, let me come with y- "captain obvious wants to join, Captain raises his hand, "It's better I go alone." And Captain left towards the pantheon. When he is going, he sees the Valkyries recovering on their floating island.
He continued on and arrived at the pantheon, he enters and bows with his head on the ground, "My lords, I've failed you. I could not complete the mission." The gods look at him as he's like a bug to them.
A fire god speaks in the room, "You failed huh. You did what you could, but it was not your best." Rune circle appear below Captain as fire erupts from it burning him. The divine guard captain grunts in pain but keeps his lips sealed, "MMH-GHH" they continue to burn him to a crisp but he is barely alive.
A lightening god speaks, "Begone from here." Captain tries to get up but he falls, he drags his body out of the pantheon as some of the gods find it amusing. When Captain reaches the doorway with stairs below, he knew the only way is to fall down the stairs. So, he pushes himself but before he reached the first stair, another god appears and holds him in his arms, "Are you still awake, champion?" it is the god of stars. He looks sadden holding the divine guard.
Captain forces himself to speak, "Y-Yes my lord." The god of stars turns around, "I'm taking you to the Valkyries' Island for them to heal you." Captain tried to politely refuse but he lost consciousness.
The god of stars took him to the Valkyrie's spire and to the healers. All the Valkyries bow immediately. Even the injured got up and bowed.
The god of stars who is actually a primordial is sadden by the state of things, "You all should rest, the battle was not easy." They reluctantly calmed themselves and some went back to rest although their wounds are opened again.
The star primordial god brings the divine guard captain to the healers, "Heal this one also". He gently lays him on a bed and turns to leave, "The 3 champions should meet me when they have recovered." He vanishes, he is truly angry over the treatment they are receiving but he is on the minority side and cannot oppose the others.
NOTICE: PERSPECTIVE SWITCH TO TWENNY
Twenny is chewing gum on the bed as she watched all this happen. She makes a bubble and pops it *POP! * continues chewing and her thoughts, "Maybe I should kill the gods and devils like Master did. It did prevent the wars and her presence alone made it impossible for a holy to occur on earth. Then again, she did forcefully summon them to fight the aliens."
Twenny scrolls on the screen reading history of her univers, "But they're weak, even a primordial god died from 3 shots of the aliens' weapons, I even I got wounded. My job is to help Flint grow strong, if he becomes a god or devil not my problem. Then again if he chooses to go his way, I won't stop him. There's always a plan B, C, D and E…,"
Twenny rubs her hair, "…. Just how far did Ivan predict things. Talk about lack of trust in humanity…..He has a point though, trusting humanity is a risk not worth taking." She stretches on her bed as the morning rays fall on her, "Ah, it's morning already. Well, time to train my agent." She gets out of bed.
