As the stabbing came to an end, Leo was no longer crying. All that could be seen on his face was disbelief as he looked at his blood-covered hands and then at his father, who sported that same excited expression after watching a five-year-old murder another person.
"Why?" was all that escaped Leo's mouth as he looked at the lifeless body lying in front of him. "Why, you ask? Well, of course, it's to make you stronger. If you don't like that, then become stronger than me and make me stop," Thomas said as he started to laugh before looking back at Leo and saying, " Now use your ability."
With a look of resentment, Leo placed his hand on the body and said, [Plunder]. After Leo activated his skill, a black mist exploded out of his hand, enveloping the body and causing it to decompose until there was nothing left, not even a drop of blood.

Looking at his new ability and skill Leo couldn't help but smirk but as soon as he did he quickly adopted his previous saddened look thinking of how could he be happy after killing someone.
This slip in Leo's expression didn't escape Thomas as he also adopted a smile and said, " It's a good ability, isn't it?" Only then did Leo look back at his father with a look of resentment on his face. "Not good enough to kill him for", Leo said with tears once again in his eyes. " Don't you really think I just got some random guy for you to kill? That boy had five siblings and no parents; in exchange for his life, I promised that I would take care of his family until they graduate college."
Hearing his father's words Leo couldn't help but feel a sense of relief. Even though it doesn't make up for what he did, it does mean that the boy who Leo now knew was named Jackson wasn't forced into anything. At that moment five-year-old Leo made a vow that he would make sure that Jackson's family would get the care they deserve.
"Are you going to keep your promise to that boy?" Leo asked his father in the most serious voice his five-year-old body could make. "Well, of course", Thomas said with a smile " I'm not a complete monster, now am I?" After Thomas said this, little words were said between the two before Leo left his father's office and returned to his room to eat dinner and go to sleep.
-----------------------------
A week later, Leo once again found himself within the confines of his father's office, once again staring at that familiar floor.
"You will be accompanying a team to a level 5 portal where you will gain as many levels as you can and unlock your next skill." Thomas comanded which Leo could only reply with "ok". The next morning Leo and a team of 5 left for a portal located whithin the forest close to the Ares guild.
"Young master are you ready" The Leader of the group Marcas asked as he looked at the 5 year old by his side. "Yes" Leo replied in a confident voice as he couldn't wait to finnaly enter a portal which had been his dream since he came to this world.
As the team approached the portal a status window popped up
Dungeon name: Snakes grotto
Max level: 5
Max entrants: 10

With a hopeful expression Leo took a step into the portal hopeful for what was about to happen.
