**Sorina**
I turned to Elena with no shock on my face. I don't need to be shocked because I have seen all these before now and knew it would happen but I can't talk, I mean it's such a boring life knowing what would happen without saying a word to anyone about it.
"It was Vael, the beta of Woodlock. He must have overheard our conversation" I said to Elena reluctantly, even though I was feeling immensely bad for her, I so much hated Vael from the start he's too ambitious to my liking.
Why would he here keeping a close ear to our conversation, who does that, this attitude he just displayed still sends anger down my spine, if this was hurting me this way, how about my darling Elena, I turned to her.
I could probably see the panic on her face, the range of fear in her eyes was rapid and still growing. It was a huge panic at that, her face gradually turning red as tears rolled down her cheeks. I felt so bad for her anyway but I warned her before now to stay away but she's a relentless explorer.
My poor Elena, that pretty face was filled with agony, regret, and anxiety "You have to calm down my daughter" I sympathized with her.
It took her time to get herself together before she could even voice out a word to me.
"Do you think granny? Will Luca hear of it" She questioned.
There are many things about the woodlock pack, but specifically, the woodlock pack are very obedient followers.
Her gaze was fixed on me while she was patiently waiting for an answer to the question she just asked. I already knew what to tell her but it would tear her emotions apart after my sympathy.
"Yes, he must hear about it," I pitched in the bad news, observing closely what she would do next, oh my poor Elena,
She burst into tears more; her emotions were controlling her, she quietly reached for the floor and sat down to let it all out, "How sure are you granny?" she asked, trembling. I could say that she asked that question in fear because she had never doubted any of my statements before.
"It already happened Elena," I said in a comforting tone, reaching my hands to her "Get up let's have some breakfast, my dear," I said, she grabbed my hands and we moved in to take breakfast.
There was a well-arranged table already waiting for us inside the sitting room. It was organized by my maid, so I didn't have to do any work myself. I am old enough to be doing chores all by myself. White linen was placed facing each seat and the hot food was in the middle of the table. There was an empty place on top of the white linen with a spoon and chopsticks beside it.
"Have a seat dear," I told Elena gently. She was uninterested in the food on the table but I was just doing my best to get her to her best self. She was still looking at the floor as she walked slowly as if there were changes around her leg, she pulled the seat out.
"Thank you granny" she muttered, taking a seat, she was looking closely into her empty plate for minutes, and I was already halfway into my meal without realizing that she hadn't even started to eat. What the actual fuck was she still thinking of, damn…what has happened has already happened.
"Elena the food is getting cold" I recalled in a lovely manner, I was seriously getting tired of the whole comforting thing. "Eat, Eat, Eat up, we've got a place we will go to". Gotcha, her eyes looked up to me from her bent overhead, gosh, I finally got her relieved, she likes taking a walk during the day.
"So where are we going?" She asked reluctantly as she dished out the hot soup onto her plate quietly, "Hmmm, this sells nice" she added as she was still waiting for an answer to her first question. Ignoring the first question "Yes, I asked the servant to cook in your usual taste" I said.
She was slurping as she ate the food, from her expression the food was sweet though her face still gave an impassive expression. Now she's done and was ready to talk a walk with me.
"Elena, you know you can't go out with this you're wearing," I told her. She was still in a mini or a half-naked dress, the villagers couldn't have her dressed like that around them.
"Is it that bad?" She asked. I think I have been too free with her to be questioning my opinions lately. I changed my facial expression posing authority to her just to have her obey whatever I was about to say to her.
"Just obey!! Elena" I shouted at her. Now she has noticed how serious I was. She hurriedly changed into a better dress, a red gown bearing some shiny pieces of gold stainless steel. As she was walking out of the room, the gold stainless steel was noisy in response to her leg movements. I wish I was still as young as her. Damn! She's so hot and adorable.
"How do I look now, granny?" she asked, gazing at her fine dress and spinning around as she waited for my response. I was still lost on how stunning she looked not knowing I was taking much time. "Are you ok granny?" she asked. O damn, what am I doing?
"You look like a queen, Elena, it's a perfect fit" I complimented immediately. The look in her eyes didn't trust my answer because I wasted time responding. "Are you sure granny, I mean, if it's not good, I can head back in and change it" She added. "Trust me, it's good. We should start heading out already"
I moved aside and she took the lead to the outside. Moving To and Fro the village square and markets was so much fun, not for me anyway but for her. In a bit, we reached the mountain of Eldoria which has an epic view of the different villages surrounded by it.
"It's a good view here" she confessed, a beam of smile flashing out of her face. It was a really happy experience for her.
"We used to come up here when we were young," I said, smiling into the thin air. "We???... What do you mean we" she asked, curiosity all over her face.
"When your parents were young, they used to come here all the time," I said smiling. Her face was filled with terror as she was looking in a different direction. "What's wrong? " I asked immediately, turning to the director. A fearful man standing drew out his sword at me.
