After the dizziness passed, Eva rubbed her temples and took a deep breath. The elder maid who had helped her moments ago lingered nearby, her expression soft with concern.
Eva straightened up and looked around the room as if searching for something. "Okay," she said, trying to sound cheerful, "so what do people do for fun around here?"
The maid blinked, clearly puzzled. "Fun, Miss Eva?"
Eva rolled her eyes. "Yes, fun! You know, like a swimming pool, a game room, or something? Anything?"
One of the younger maids, who had been standing at the back, leaned in to whisper something to the elder. The elder maid finally nodded and turned back to Eva. "Well, Miss Eva, there is a swimming pool downstairs."
