Lucian pushed the heavy door to his room open, his steps firm and unyielding as he entered.
Water still dripped from his soaked clothes, leaving faint trails on the pristine floor.
Without so much as a glance at Eva, he dropped her unceremoniously to her feet.
Eva stumbled slightly, catching her balance with a furious glare.
"What the hell is wrong with you, Lucian?!" she snapped, her voice echoing in the vast room.
He didn't answer. Instead, he walked away from her, his broad shoulders tense and his posture rigid.
His silence was maddening.
Eva's chest rose and fell as she tried to catch her breath, a mixture of anger and embarrassment fueling her every word.
"You think you can just manhandle me like that? Embarrass me in front of everyone?
Who do you think you are?" she yelled, her voice following him as he made his way to the wardrobe.
