I never thought I'll be standing infront of this ridiculously large mansion again, after not getting any calls from Dr. Han for 3 weeks I thought that they finally ended the sessions but, I guess not.
As the gate opened p'Sang was standing there with the same cold unreadable look, "this way." He said as he lead me towards the main entrance of the house. As I walked behind him I couldn't help but observe his body, broad shoulders, muscular arms, great posture, nice hands, neat hair, and a good looking face. Features of an Alpha, but I guess Beta's can build up to an Alpha's body type.
'Did Ran like his body?' The way he would hold onto P'Sang arm when his scared, the way he would cuddle up in his arms when his under a panic attack, the way his fingers will slightly brush on his biceps when he laughed of course he would like a body like that.
Compared to me, i didn't come off as an alpha though I wasn't skinny I didn't have muscles like Sang.
"Here, you can go in." He said as we reached Ran's room.
"He might be sleeping, so wake him up gently." He added.
'Now I have to wake him up' I thought to myself as I entered the room, that was filled with all sorts of art. Guess he was really an art person.
I slowly and quietly walked over to his massive bed and found him sleeping like a princess, 'how can I wake up a person without knowing if they are grumpy when awake.' I thought to myself.
I stood there for a moment, unsure of how to proceed. Niran's face was completely relaxed, his breathing steady. It was the first time I'd seen him look so peaceful—so unlike the guarded and sharp-tongued person I was used to.
How was I supposed to wake him up without risking his wrath? He didn't strike me as the type to appreciate being disturbed.
"Ran," I whispered hesitantly, leaning closer. No response.
I tried again, a little louder this time. "Niran, wake up."
Still nothing.
I sighed, glancing around the room. It was filled with his personality—paintings, sketchpads, brushes, and books stacked in neat but overflowing piles. The faint smell of paint and fresh linen lingered in the air.
"Alright," I muttered under my breath. "Guess I'll have to risk it."
I reached out and gently shook his shoulder. "Ran, wake up. It's me, Nat."
He stirred slightly, his brows furrowing as if he was caught in a dream. "P'Sang Five more minutes…" he mumbled, his voice groggy and childlike.
"It's Nat, not P'Sang." I replied.
He groaned as he turned his back to me, I let out a small sigh of frustration "come on, you asked for a one hour session time is ticking." I said slightly typing him.
Suddenly he grabbed my arm and pulled me down onto the bed, "cuddle with me for a moment, I want to feel warm in your arms." He muttered throwing his leg over me.
"Seriously Ran, I don't have time for this." I said struggling to release myself.
"P'Sang did you use a different cologne, you smell sweet like candy." He mumbled as he sniffed me.
I couldn't help but feel irritated by hearing that name, why would he think I'm his bodyguard? Was this a norm for them?
I pushed against his chest, trying to free myself from his hold. "Niran, seriously. I'm not P'Sang," I said, my voice tinged with frustration.
He mumbled something incoherent, still half-dazed, and tightened his grip around me. "You feel so warm," he murmured, completely oblivious to the confusion and annoyance building in me. "P'Sang please Just stay for a little longer…"
I let out a sigh of defeat, there was no way out of this. It was either I go through the session like this or just wait until his fully up. And why was P'Sang all he could think about?
I hesitated, my mind racing with a mix of frustration and confusion. The whole situation was absurd. I could feel my patience thinning as I remained there, trapped in his arms. He was still half-asleep, mumbling about P'Sang as if I didn't exist at all. It irritated me more than I cared to admit.
"P'Sang, seriously?" I muttered under my breath, trying to wiggle out of his grip again. "Why is it always him? Can't you just focus for one second?"
Ran let out a soft, contented sigh, still not fully awake, as if he hadn't heard a word I said. He shifted closer to me, nuzzling his face into my chest with a little murmur. "I'm just so tired… but I don't want to be alone…"
A strange, conflicting feeling twisted in my chest. I knew Ran had been through a lot, and I knew he was vulnerable in his own way, but it was hard to ignore the way he clung to people—especially someone like P'Sang—almost as if he were trying to hide from his own feelings, or worse, his own fears.
After so many failed attempts I gave up, I just laid their loooking up at the ceiling wondering what was the relationship between him and Sang, and why did I feel like this when he mentioned that name.

Later that afternoon, the sunlight filtered softly through the curtains as Sang stepped into the room. He had been keeping a watchful eye on the clock, noticing how much longer than usual the session was dragging on. With a sigh, he walked inside, only to pause in his tracks when he saw the scene before him.
On the large bed, Niran and Nat were nestled together, their bodies tangled in a way that spoke of comfort more than anything else. Ran's head rested against Nat's chest, his breathing slow and steady as if he'd finally found a moment of peace. Nat, was also caught in a deep sleep, sleeping peacefully like all in the problems in the world had disappeared.
Sang stopped in his tracks, his usually composed demeanor faltering as he took in the unexpected sight. For a moment, he simply stood there, unsure whether to wake them or leave them be. The room was quiet, save for the soft, rhythmic sound of their breathing, and the peaceful expressions on both their faces seemed almost out of place in their otherwise chaotic lives.
Letting out a quiet sigh, Sang glanced at the clock on the wall. This has gone on long enough, he thought. It wasn't just about time; there were expectations to be met, and the longer this lasted, the more questions it would raise among the family.
Walking over to the side of the bed, Sang leaned down and gently placed a hand on Niran's shoulder. "Young master," he said softly, his voice low and measured. "It's time to wake up."
Niran stirred slightly, his brows knitting together, but he didn't wake. Sang tried again, this time tapping his shoulder with a bit more firmness. "Young master, lunch is ready, and the family is waiting for you."
Ran let out a small groan, his head nuzzling further into Nat's chest as if trying to escape the interruption. "Five more minutes," he muttered groggily, his voice muffled by the fabric of Nat's shirt.
Sang's gaze shifted to Nat, who remained blissfully unaware, his face serene in slumber. For a brief moment, Sang hesitated. There was something undeniably endearing about the scene—a rare moment of vulnerability for both of them. But duty called.
With a deeper sigh, Sang stood and clapped his hands together loudly, the sound breaking through the tranquility of the room. "Young master, please. It's time to get up. Both of you."
The abrupt noise jolted Nat awake first. His eyes shot open, and he sat up quickly, disoriented and panicked. "What—? Where am I?" he stammered, his gaze darting around until it landed on Sang, then down at Ran still curled up against him.
Ran groaned in protest, sitting up slowly and rubbing his eyes. "Why are you always so loud, P'Sang?" he grumbled, shooting the Beta a half-hearted glare before stretching lazily.
Nat, now fully awake, scrambled to his feet, his face red with embarrassment. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to—he just—he wouldn't let go, and then I—" He trailed off, clearly unsure how to explain himself.
Ran turned to look at Nat with a brow raised, then he looked back at Sang was standing waiting for him to get up. "Was I not cuddling you?" He asked confused.
"No sir, I was guarding your door." Sang replied. "Oh." He said his shoulders slumped.
He turned to Nat who was standing there his head low and slightly chuckled, "I'm so sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable, I guess I was just to tired."
"We can reschedule for another day." He suggested.
"Sure, whatever you want." Nat muttered, "I'll take my leave then.
Nat quickly gathered his things, eager to escape the awkward tension that now filled the room. His mind raced, a mix of embarrassment and confusion over what had just transpired. He felt Ran's gaze on him as he shuffled toward the door.
Ran stood and stretched again, his messy hair only adding to his disheveled appearance. "You sure you're okay, Nat?" he asked, his tone unusually soft.
Nat paused at the door, gripping the handle tightly without looking back. "I'm fine," he replied, his voice quiet but firm. "I'll come back when you're more rested."
Sang, still standing by the doorway, observed the exchange with his usual stoic expression. As Nat exited the room, Sang turned to Ran. "Young master, you should be more mindful of your actions. Not everyone will understand or appreciate your… habits."
Ran scoffed lightly, brushing off Sang's remark. "It's not like I did anything wrong," he said, walking toward the window and peering out at the sprawling garden below. "He seemed more upset about something else anyway."
Sang tilted his head slightly, his sharp eyes narrowing. "Perhaps. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't apologize properly."
Ran waved a hand dismissively, but his expression grew pensive. "Yeah, yeah. I already said sorry," he muttered, though his gaze lingered on the path Nat had taken to leave.
As Nat stepped out into the crisp afternoon air, he inhaled deeply, trying to calm his frayed nerves. The large mansion loomed behind him, its grandeur now feeling suffocating rather than impressive. He walked quickly toward the gate, his thoughts swirling.
"Why did I even come back here?" he muttered to himself. "It's always the same. I'm just a convenience to them."
Yet, as he thought back to Ran's sleepy apology and the unguarded way he had spoken, something about it felt… different. Shaking his head, he dismissed the thought. "Doesn't matter," he said firmly. "I'm here to do a job, not to get caught up in their world."
Nat glanced over his shoulder one last time as the gate closed behind him, wondering why a part of him felt reluctant to leave.
