Kabir was calling Veer. After the full ring, Veer did not pick up the phone. Kabir said, "He is not answering the phone."
Dr. Padam, who had been working on the Multiverse Project for the past 8 years, said, "We need to design the machine in such a way that it travels within the multiverse we have defined."
Dr. Devender, who has been working on this project from the beginning, said, "But the question is, how do we design it to travel within a fixed multiverse?"
Dr. Devender continued, "As we know, whenever we face a situation where we have to choose between two decisions, such a situation is the reason for the birth of the multiverse." Dr. Devender added, "If we look at it this way, I think if we link this machine to the point where the multiverse is born, we might be able to travel within a fixed multiverse."
Lab assistant Anuj asked, "What does that mean?"
Dr. Devender explained to Anuj, "For example, imagine you have ₹100 and you want to buy ice cream. You go to the ice cream shop. You see that there are only two flavors available, chocolate and strawberry. You like both. But the problem is, the cost of one ice cream is ₹100, and you only have ₹100. Now, the problem is which ice cream you should buy. You can't buy both because you only have ₹100."
Dr. Devender asked Anuj, "Which ice cream would you prefer?" Anuj said, "I would prefer chocolate ice cream." Dr. Devender then explained, "The universe resolves such problems in a way that if you choose chocolate ice cream, a new multiverse will be born, where another version of you, whom I will call Anuj 2, will choose strawberry ice cream."
Dr. Devender added, "Therefore, we need to build a machine that can travel to the multiverse where such decisions are made. If we consider the ice cream example, when you chose chocolate, the point of that decision created another multiverse where Anuj 2 chooses strawberry ice cream. If we link the machine to you and that event, we can travel to the multiverse of Anuj 2."
Dr. Devender asked, "Do you understand now?"
Anuj replied, "I completely understand."
Kabir said, "Devender, I agree with your theory. We need to design the machine like this. Then we will find out if we can travel to the multiverse we defined. We can solve this problem with the help of my friend Veer, who is an environmental activist. With Veer's help, we can travel to a multiverse where the environment is completely livable."
Sandeep said, "If we design the machine in such a way that we can input a short description of the multiverse we want, such as the percentage of gases in the air, pressure, and temperature, the machine can randomly find a multiverse that matches the description. After that, we can save the space-time location of that multiverse so that we can travel there again."
Anuj asked, "By space-time location, do you mean its address?"
Sandeep said, "Yes, the address of that multiverse."
Kabir said, "The idea isn't bad; maybe we can do this. But I think we need to do more research on it."
Venki said, "If multiverses are being born, why don't we create a multiverse according to our wish?" Everyone looked at Venki after hearing this. Venki asked, "Did I say something wrong?" Sandeep replied, "You didn't say anything wrong; in fact, your idea is out of the box, at least for now." Kabir said, "First, we are going to work on an idea that is very close to us, meaning we will work on Dr. Devender's idea since we are closest to it."
Just then, Kabir's phone rang. Kabir looked at the screen, and it said "Veer." Kabir picked up the call and said, "Hello, Veer."
Veer replied, "Yes, Kabir, how are you?"
Kabir said, "I'm fine, how about you?"
Veer replied, "I'm good."
Kabir said, "I need your help."
Veer asked, "What help do you need?"
Kabir explained everything to Veer. After hearing Kabir, Veer said, "Do you believe this will work?"
Kabir replied, "There is no other option."
Veer said, "Okay, I'm ready, tell me when to do it."
Kabir said, "Next week."
Veer replied, "Okay, done."
Kabir said, "Thanks, bro. I'll call you."
Veer said, "Okay."
Kabir said, "So, everyone, listen carefully. We need to make this machine large enough for at least two people to travel, and ideally three passengers. The machine also needs to be designed in such a way that it can easily connect the passenger's mind." "Do you all agree with me?" Venki said, "No doubt." Sandeep said, "I have a doubt." Kabir asked, "What?" Sandeep said, "I need to have lunch." Everyone laughed.
Kabir looked at his watch, and it was almost time for lunch. Kabir said, "It's time for lunch. I'm going for lunch. You all should have lunch too. After that, we'll continue with this work."
Kabir left the lab and headed toward Mahira's office. Soon, Kabir reached near Mahira's office. Mahira saw him coming and said, "What's up, Mr. Kabir? You're here earlier than expected."
Kabir said, "Ah, just one minute left, and it's gone. There, done."
Both sat down to have lunch. Mahira asked Kabir, "What's the update today?"
Kabir replied, "You should already know."
Mahira said, "Now you're trying to tease me."
Kabir said, "I was just joking." Then Kabir told Mahira everything that had happened in the lab. Mahira said, "If so much was happening, you could have informed me too. I'm also the CEO of this company."
Kabir replied, "Everything happened so quickly that we couldn't inform you."
Mahira said, "You got serious. I was just saying that. I trust you, Kabir, and anyway, I get the full report in the evening."
As their lunch was finishing, Kabir received a call from Sandeep, and Sandeep said, "If you're done with lunch, come quickly to the lab," and the phone hung up.
