Alaina's POV
"Keisha!" I cried out once I saw her. I haven't seen her since the wedding, not because Michael didn't allow it, but because I didn't know how to face her. When I had texted her about the wedding, she had been worried, she literally screamed over the phone, asking if I was in my right senses.
The plan was to 'act' like his wife, not marry him in a court wedding. Keisha's words the night before the wedding were, "Are you sure about what you are about to do, Alaina? Michael Alista is not a man of love, and he probably wants you for the baby."
I had no choice but to explain to Keisha that Michael was the unknown man I had a one-night stand with. The coincidence was alarming. Michael was originally chasing me around to act as his wife, and he turned out to be the one I had a one-night stand with.
