Ananya woke up with a sense of heaviness in her heart. The marriage proposal from Devansh had been the topic of discussion in her household, and it was all she could think about. As she dressed for college, her mind was a whirlwind of conflicting thoughts. She admired Devansh's commanding presence and the respect he commanded, but the rumors of his anger issues loomed large in her mind. She wondered if she could handle his temperament. With these thoughts swirling in her mind, she made her way to her classes, but her focus was entirely elsewhere.
Throughout the day, Ananya found it impossible to concentrate on her studies. Her friends noticed her distraction, but she brushed off their concerns with a smile. Inside, she was deeply conflicted. She knew she felt something for Devansh, an inexplicable pull that she couldn't ignore. Yet, the stories about his temper haunted her.
By lunchtime, she decided she needed to talk to someone about her predicament. She picked up her phone and called her best friend, Riya.
"Riya, can we meet at the café after college? I need to talk to you about something important," Ananya said, her voice tinged with anxiety.
"Of course, Ananya. I'll be there," Riya replied, sensing the urgency in her friend's voice.
After college, Ananya headed to their favorite café, a cozy spot that always brought her comfort. She found a quiet corner and waited for Riya. When Riya arrived, Ananya felt a wave of relief.
"What's going on, Ananya? You sounded so serious on the phone," Riya asked, her concern evident.
Ananya took a deep breath and began to explain. "Riya, my family received a marriage proposal from Maharaja Rajveer Chauhan's family. They want me to marry Devansh."
Riya's eyes widened in surprise. "Devansh? The CEO and the king of Jodhpur? That's huge, Ananya! How do you feel about it?"
Ananya hesitated, trying to put her feelings into words. "I... I don't know, Riya. I've met him a few times, and there's something about him that draws me in. But then there are all these rumors about his anger issues. What if I can't handle it? What if I'm not strong enough?"
Riya listened intently, then leaned forward, her expression serious. "Ananya, the first thing you need to ask yourself is: do you like him? Do you see potential in this relationship?"
Ananya bit her lip, thinking deeply. "I do like him, Riya. There's a side of him that I think is kind and respectful. But I'm also scared."
Riya nodded. "It's natural to be scared, especially when you're considering such a big decision. But remember, rumors are just that-rumors. You need to trust your own experience and instincts. You've seen a side of him that others might not have. And think about it, your family is supportive, and they'll be there for you."
Ananya sighed, feeling a bit lighter. "You're right. But what if things go wrong? What if he can't control his temper?"
Riya reached out and held Ananya's hand. "Every relationship has its challenges. What's important is how you handle them together. If you believe that there's a good side to him, and if you're willing to take that chance, then maybe it's worth it. But ultimately, it's your decision. Do what feels right for you."
Ananya nodded, feeling more confident. "Thank you, Riya. I needed to hear that."
After their conversation, Ananya felt a renewed sense of clarity. She want to give this relationship a chance.
She headed home, her mind still processing everything. That evening, as she entered her room, she took a moment to gather her thoughts. She knew her family was waiting for her answer.
At dinner, after everyone eat there dinner the atmosphere was tense. Her father, Vikram Singh, looked at her with a mixture of hope and concern. "Ananya, beta have you thought about the proposal? Apka kya kahena hai is rishta ka bare mai.?"
Ananya took a deep breath, her heart pounding in her chest. "Yes, Papa, I've thought about it," she began, her voice steady. "I believe that this marriage could be good for both our families. I... I like Devansh, and I think we can make it work. So, my answer is yes."
A wave of relief and joy swept through the room. Her father smiled, his eyes shining with pride. "You've made a wise decision, Ananya. We're all here to support you."
Her mother, Rajeshwari Devi, hugged her tightly. "I'm so proud of you, meri bacchi. We all believe in you."
"But papa" Ananya said hesitated.
" Ha. Bolo beta kya baat hai." her father said with concern.
"Vo Papa, mera abhi college pura bhi nhi hua hai. One semester is still there and i want to married after completing my college."she said.
Her father said with relief " koi nhi beta aap iss baat ki fikar mat kro mai unsai iss bare mai bat kr lunga ."
That night, Ananya lay in bed, reflecting on her decision. She felt a mix of excitement and apprehension. She knew that her life was about to change in ways she couldn't even imagine. But with her family's support and her own inner strength, she felt ready to face whatever came next.
As she drifted off to sleep, her thoughts lingered on Devansh. She wondered will she able to handle him, what their future would hold and hoped that they could find happiness together. For now, she had made her choice, and that brought her a sense of peace.
