The sun had just begun to rise, casting a golden glow over Raigarh. In the royal palace, Maharaja Vikram Singh sat in his study, his thoughts occupied by the conversation he was about to have.
He picked up the phone and dialed the number of Maharaja Rajveer Chauhan, his fingers tapping lightly on the wooden desk as he waited.
The phone rang only twice before it was answered. " Hello, Rajveer Chauhan speaking," came the voice on the other end, deep and authoritative yet tinged with a hint of anticipation.
"Good morning, Rajveer ji," Vikram Singh greeted warmly. " Hum Vikram Singh bol rahe hai."
"Good morning, Vikram ji," Rajveer Chauhan replied, his tone polite but eager. "I assume you have news for me?"
"Yes, indeed," Vikram Singh said, a smile creeping onto his face. "Humnai Ananya sa is rishtai kai liya bat kri thi, Ananya is rishtai kai liya tayar hai. Our family is also very happy with this decision."
There was a brief silence on the other end, followed by a joyful exclamation. "Aapnai to subha subha bhot hi acchi khabar sunai haj, Vikram ji!" Rajveer Chauhan said, his voice filled with genuine happiness. "We are equally thrilled to welcome Ananya into our family."
The two men exchanged heartfelt congratulations, their mutual respect and excitement palpable through the phone line.
"I believe it would be good for our families to meet and spend some time together," Rajveer Chauhan suggested. "It will give us all a chance to get to know each other better, aur ise bhane Devansh and Ananya bhi ek dusrai ko accha sa jaan lengai."
"Ha, humai bhi ya theek lagta hai" Vikram Singh agreed. "Shall we arrange for a meeting at our palace in Raigarh? Perhaps in a week's time?"
"That sounds perfect," Rajveer Chauhan concurred. "We will make the necessary arrangements and look forward to seeing you all."
With final expressions of goodwill, the call ended, leaving both men with a sense of satisfaction and anticipation for the future.
Meanwhile, in Jodhpur, the Chauhan family gathered around the breakfast table. The dining hall was filled with the usual morning chatter, but there was an undercurrent of curiosity as they awaited news from Rajveer Chauhan, who had taken a call in his study.
As Rajveer Chauhan entered the dining hall, his face bore a serene yet pleased expression. "I have some news to share," he announced, drawing the attention of everyone at the table.
His wife, Maharani Malini Devi, looked at him expectantly. "What is it, Rajveer ji?"
"I just spoke with Vikram Singh," Rajveer Chauhan began. "Ananya has accepted the proposal, and their family is also very happy with this arrangement."
A collective cheer erupted around the table. Maharani Shanta Devi clasped her hands together in joy. "This is wonderful news! Ananya is a lovely girl, and I am sure she will be a wonderful addition to our family."
Priya, Devansh's younger sister, grinned widely. "yaa! Bhaiya bhabi man gyi, mujhe bhi bhabi sa milna hai"
Aditya, Devansh's younger brother, added, "This is truly a great match, Bhaiya. Congratulations."
Devansh sat quietly, his face as stoic as ever, but a subtle warmth flickered in his eyes. "Thank you," he said simply, acknowledging their congratulations.
"We have arranged for both families to meet at their palace in Raigarh in a week's time," Rajveer Chauhan continued. "This will give everyone a chance to become acquainted and allow Devansh and Ananya to spend some time together."
Maharaja Veer Chauhan, Devansh's grandfather, nodded approvingly. "This is a wise decision. It is important for them to understand each other before taking this step."
As breakfast concluded, Devansh excused himself and prepared to leave for his office. On his way out, his father approached him. "Devansh," he said, placing a hand on his son's shoulder, "I am proud of you. This is a significant step for our family and for you personally."
Devansh nodded, a rare but genuine smile touching his lips. "Thank you, Baba. I believe this is the right decision."
As he drove to his office, Devansh's thoughts drifted to Ananya. Her shy smile, the way she blushed under his gaze-these memories brought an uncharacteristic warmth to his heart. He found himself smiling again, an unusual but welcome feeling.
Back in Raigarh, Ananya attended her college classes, but her mind was elsewhere. During lunch, she found Riya and pulled her aside.
"Riya, I said yes," she confessed, her eyes sparkling with a mix of excitement and nervousness.
Riya's face lit up with a wide smile. "Ya to bhot acchi bat hai, Ananya! I'm so happy for you."
"I hope I made the right decision," Ananya said, biting her lip. "I keep thinking about Devansh and the future."
Riya squeezed her friend's hand reassuringly. "You made the decision that felt right to you. And remember, you'll have time to get to know him better before the wedding. Trust yourself, Ananya."
Ananya nodded, feeling a bit more confident. "Thank you, Riya. I really needed to hear that."
As the day went on, both Ananya and Devansh found themselves repeatedly thinking about each other. The impending meeting between their families weighed on their minds, filling them with both anticipation and a hint of anxiety.
That evening, as Ananya prepared for bed, she stood by her window, looking out at the moonlit garden. She couldn't help but wonder what the future held for her and Devansh. She knew that their journey together would be challenging, but she also felt a sense of hope and determination.
In Jodhpur, Devansh sat in his study, reviewing some documents. Despite his busy schedule, his thoughts kept drifting back to Ananya. He remembered their brief interactions, the softness in her eyes, and the quiet strength she exuded. For the first time in a long while, he felt something more than mere obligation or duty-he felt a genuine interest in another person.
As the night deepened, both Ananya and Devansh lay in their respective beds, their minds filled with thoughts of each other. They were about to embark on a new journey, one that would intertwine their lives in ways they couldn't yet fully comprehend. Despite the uncertainties and the challenges that lay ahead, both felt a sense of readiness, a willingness to face the future together.
And with that thought, they drifted into a peaceful sleep, their dreams filled with possibilities and the promise of a new beginning.
