Chapter 7 - Chapter 7

"System," he said softly, his voice steady but cold. "I'm ready. Initiate the transfer."

A soft hum began in his ears, building into a pressure that prickled at the edges of his mind. His surroundings started to blur, the edges of buildings and streets melting into amorphous shapes like wet paint smeared across a canvas.

[Transfer in progress. Destination: Medieval World Tres Lands. Prepare for displacement.]

"All my life, I've been playing small," he muttered under his breath. "Not anymore."

He couldn't shake the ideas blooming in his mind—possibilities that weren't just fantasies in this new world.

He could picture a brighter future for himself: a king no a emperor, standing tall with two or three loving wives by his side.

It was a far cry from the life he had now, scraping by through gambling and struggling to get ahead.

In this new world, strength and ambition would rule, and if he wanted something, he wouldn't have to beg or gamble for it—he could take it by waging war and claiming it as his own.

The pressure in his ears reached a crescendo, and just as Leon thought he might pass out, it all stopped.

He gasped, his breath misting in the crisp air around him. He looked down at his feet, now planted on soft, green grass instead of cracked asphalt.

The vibrant landscape before him took his breath away—rolling hills blanketed with emerald vegetation stretched to the horizon, and a dense forest loomed nearby,

Alive with the distant chirping of birds and rustling of leaves. The sun bathed everything in a golden glow, giving the scene an almost surreal beauty.

[Transfer complete. Welcome to Medieval World: Tres Lands, Green Territories.]

The system's robotic voice broke his momentary awe. He glanced around, scanning the surroundings for any immediate threats, but all seemed calm.

"Where exactly am I?" he asked aloud.

[Coordinates: Green Lands, Sector B4. Resources: Plentiful. Hostile presence: Minimal. Recommended action: Begin Kingdom Formation.]

Leon's brows rose. "Kingdom Formation? What are the steps?"

[Kingdom Formation consists of five stages:

Tribe Establishment: Create a foundation by gathering people and resources to form a small settlement.

Village Growth: Develop infrastructure and security to support a larger population.

Town Expansion: Strengthen trade, governance, and military to maintain stability and growth.

City Development: Unify scattered territories into a cohesive domain and cement leadership.

Kingdom Ascendance: Declare sovereignty and expand influence through diplomacy, economy, or conquest.]

Leon nodded as the plan solidified in his mind. Starting small didn't bother him; he knew the roots of an empire were planted in humble soil.

[Task Assigned: Establish a Tribe.]

[Objective: Recruit 10 individuals, gather initial resources, and construct basic shelter.]

[Rewards: Starter Leader Perks, Initial Resource Boost, and Leadership Skill Upgrade.]

As Leon absorbed the information, the system chimed again.

[Tip: Nearby forest provides wood, stone, and game—essential for survival and tribe creation. Scan your surroundings for potential recruits. First recruits may include refugees, wanderers, or locals. Strength and charisma are key.]

"Alright, system. Let's see how this goes," he muttered.

He slung the duffel bag off his shoulder and unzipped it, carefully pulling out the M4 and securing the suppressor. It felt foreign against the natural backdrop, but Leon knew its worth. It wasn't just a weapon; it was security.

He moved toward the forest, his boots crunching softly against the grass. His heart raced, not out of fear, but anticipation. For once, his future didn't feel bleak; it felt like an open road just waiting to be paved.

"This is really happening. I thought I was just hallucinating, but this shit is real," he muttered, shaking his head in disbelief.

Leon's eyes darted between the towering trees ahead. The faint scent of earth and foliage filled the air.

"Alright, system," he said, his voice firm, "where do I start?"

[Suggestion: Begin gathering resources. Recommended priority: Wood and stones. Nearby fauna detected: Rabbits, deer. No significant predators in immediate vicinity.]

"Resources, huh?" Leon murmured, glancing around. He didn't have much experience hunting or gathering, but he figured he'd pick it up as he went.

A quick sweep of his surroundings revealed fallen branches scattered along the forest floor. They'd work as kindling, at least, until he had tools to gather larger logs.

"Guess it's not all that different from playing strategy games," he mused, trying to lighten the mood for himself. "Resource management, exploration, building—just... higher stakes."
