The beginning 

 A young Nessa stood nervously in Marian's office. She knew this day would come. The day her incompetence will be rewarded. 

A middle aged woman sat on the chair behind her. She had a blonde hair, and a long scar on her left cheek 

Leaning on the chair, her eyes narrowing.

" You've heard of Blake Leslie right"

" Yes ma. I … I have "

" What do you know about him? "

" I heard he's the richest man in the county. And that he's ruthless and deadly too."

" Do you know anything else about him?"

" No ma'am. What's going on Gloria. Why are you asking me about him. I thought I was meant to be fired. What's happening ?"

" You were meant to. I mean your letter is on the table. But then I decided to give you a second chance"

" What?"

This seemed suspicious. Nessa thought to herself.

" Yes sweetie. We both know your past missions have never been good. You barely get any mission right. But ive decided to give a second chance"

" But why, what if I fail again?"

" You can't fail time because this time is not like other times. This mission is a delicate one.Your life is on the line. If you fail the mission you might get killed"

"And if I don't want to embark on the mission? Nessa's voice shook 

 " You will have to leave the company. And without any protections. You know what that is.."

" A death sentence." Nessa completed the statement 

Nessa widened her eyes in fear 

Marian studied her face closely.

" Are you in or out?"

"Im in"

"That's it! More information will be communicated to you later. For now have a great evening.

" You too Maria "

A string of fear etched on Nessa's heart as she closed the door behind her.

 "CEO sir, we have…."

" I have told you to stop calling me CEO!!" Blake's face reddened.

" I have a name and it's Blake."

" And drop the sir" Blake voice rose

" Yes Blake but it sounds a bit un.. unofficial. The young man stammered.

" Unofficial? You think I care?. Drop the report on my desk and get out.

The young man's hand trembled as he laid the report on the table. His eyes darting towards the door .

Blake muttered under his breath..

 " Peanut brains. They never learn. How do they still work for me?".

 Knock! Knock! 

"Get away. I am too tired to attend to anyone for now!!! 

"C'mmon it's me man!! " Come in, you moron". Blake's mood lightened.

It was Jeff Blake's friend right from college. 

If not only Blake's friend after the incident ...

 " Hey man, why don't you take it easy, " he said, flouting himself to the couch close to him. 

" Get your soggy wet ass off my couch. Sit on this chair instead. " 

" It's s not that sweaty you know. Plus you can get a new couch right away . I could even get you one. It costs just a couple of thousand bucks.

" If you can't sit on this chair you might as well get out " 

" Be calm Blake. You win, I'll come sit on the chair . Can I breathe now? " 

He got no response.

 Blake's face was deep buried into the report. His brows furrowed . Jeff knew this didn't mean good. He had proceeded to rubbing his temples . He knew Blake's ear would have turned red by now. His silky long black hair covered them but he sure knew that was already happening . 

" Blake? Blake ? Blake?" he made no replies 

 Thwart!!! The report papers flew in the air. 

" Oh boy!" Jeff muttered. 

 " These bastards !!!. They think I'm not smart enough or I'm an extravagant rich billionaire that doesn't care about funds missing in a few places right? 

"Smart one. I know I am rich but trying to steal from me is what I wouldn't take". Squeezing his hands into a fist and gnashing his teeth ." 

"Blake what are you talking about? " Jeff was utterly confused.

" These greedy sloths think they can loot money and go free "" 

" Blake, relax. How are you sure they took your money.The money they would have taken is nothing compared to the billions you have. It won't do anything to you" . 

" This is business and I stand on transparency and accountability. My companies and business empires would crash. I would be a pauper if I let this little action of today slide."

Im laying everyone off this week and getting myself new sets of workers. That'll do!"​
