Blake Leslie was one of the sons of the richest men in the county. With constant hard work, his uptight behavior and ruthless he worked his way to be the richest in Bienville county. Seeing his high level of hardwork, his father made him his heir. He willed all of his wealth to him.
Over the years he built more companies, real estates , hotels within and outside the county.
He was the envy of all other businessmen. It felt like they weren't working enough.
Late Leslie Dax, Blake's Father willed to Blake's siblings a mansion for each of them .
He knew their extravagant lifestyle and didn't want his empire crumble to dust.
Hate and resentment grew in the heart of Blake's siblings. They have become sworn enemies ready to kill him at any slight opportunity.
After the incident a few years ago they lay low travelling to different parts of the country.
The name Leslie was a popular name. It carried a high weight in the business world. It opened doors and provided opportunities people worked endlessly for.

Blake at the peak of success unaware of the danger lurking in the shadows. His siblings promise of revenge ever fresh soon to be unleashed.
" Okay Blake I know what you need. Good food and drinks to take your pain away.

" But Jeff!"
" No no you've been talking all along. Why don't I take charge for now. So for now we'll go get food and drinks at Old Granny's Lounge . Then we would speak of sacking your workers okay bro?
*Fine, let's go*. Blake resigned.
"I'll drive. You can call the driver to come drive your car home "

Nessa lay on her bed staring at the ceiling. Tears filled her eyes. There was tension at work. She cared about nothing but her father
Her gaze drifted to the mirror . Staring at the mirror all she could see was a shadow of her former self.
She was frail, lost a lot of weight . Nevertheless she was still beautiful.
" Dad please wake up soon" she pleaded, her voice cracking. Hospital bills had drained her savings, leaving her with barely enough.
" Sweet heart. I think you should stop with the treatment. It's taking a toll on you. Make good memories with him till he breathes his last". A nurse advised her some time ago.
She couldn't do that. He was the only one she had after her mother passed away.
After a long day, Nessa returned home. She changed into a simple brown gown.
Her phone buzzed. A text came in.
" Hey Angel, your father's health has gotten worse. He relapsed into a coma. Please come to the hospital immediately"
Rushing out tears streaming down her face.
Nessa broke down seeing her father motionless, machines beeping around him.
" Doctor, what happened to him?
Why is he like this ? She begged, tears streaming down her face.
" He was getting better, responding to treatment. We did everything we could. Good thing he's still alive
Nessa sat beside her dad holding his hands
" You'll be fine dad". She burst out in tears.
" Oh my. Poor child."
Laura a middle aged nurse pitied her. sadness written over her face. She was in charge of taking care of Nessa father.
Vanessa hearing her voice wiped her tears. Her reddened nose and swollen face gave her away.
" He'll be fine dear. He'll be fine".
" Im tired Aunt Laura. I'm tired. I don't want to loose him"
Nessa broke down again on Laura's chest.
" You'll be fine dear. Why don't you come over to my place. Im having a little homecoming party for Mason, my son. He hasn't been home in years."
" Thanks Aunt but I don't want to bother anyone"
" Don't say that . My shift is over. Get up let's go . Your father will be fine"
" Okay aunt"
" Good bye Dad. I'll be back " . pecking his forehead they left the ward.

" Yes sir . Everything has been put in place. My source says he'll fire all his workers soon and then we'll strike with her
The line went down with irky laughs echoing at the other end
