Diane soon emerged out of the bathroom, only to find herself alone in the room. She proceeded to sit on the bed, giving Scales who was by her bedside a pat. While she was still deliberating whether to look for him or not, the bedroom door creaked open. "Where did you go?" She asked him, as soon as he closed the door. "You will find out soon enough." Diego said, walking to her side, and dropping a container of balm in the shelf, the same place where the lizards case was. "What are you using this for?" She asked him, as he sat beside her. "Did you really think I didn't notice?" He asked her. "Notice.. What?" She asked, a little bit perplexed. "Anyone that has eyes will be able to tell that you hurt your leg." He said, looking at her with an incredulous expression plastered across his face. "Not necessarily. She said, with a shrug of her shoulders. "It is just a little bit of blisters, that's all." She said. Diego looked at her with a straight gaze. "What?" She asked, alarmed at the way he was looking at her. "I am not buying it." He said, lifting up her left leg, and placing it on his lap. A few blisters indeed. They were swollen and tender, and Diane yelped even when Diego touched then lightly. "You must be an alien. I don't get how a regular human being will be able to jump around with feet this swollen like yours " He said. "Well, I am not your regular human being." Diane said with a wink. "You are impossible." Diego said. "Well, this Is not the first time that you are realizing that." Diane said. "There is really no point arguing with the likes of you." Diego said as he stood up. "Egiel" He called down from down the hallway. "Can you please get me a bowl of warm water, along with that bottle." Diego said. Afterwards he closed the door. "Who Is that?" Diane asked, after Diego returned to her side. "Who else could it have been? A servant of course." Diego replied half-heartedly. "It's just that I haven't heard that name before." Diane casually replied.
It didn't take a long amount of time for Egiel to get the water ready, though as they was soon a knock on the door. "My lord." He said. "Is the water ready?" He asked, rising from the bed. "Yes, my lord." Egiel replied from behind th door. When Diego opened it, Diane craned her neck so she could see how Egiel looked like. But no matter how hard this ostrich tried to crane her neck, she couldn't even catch a glimpse of his shadow. "Thank you." Diego said as he received it, while Egiel closed the door from the other end.
"Okay. Let's get started." Diego said, as he set the big basin on the floor. He then brought out a small bottle from his coat, and turned the transparent liquid into the water. "What is that?" Diane asked, as her curiosity sparked. "Eucalyptus water." Diego replied. "I thought you were going to use magic to heal me." Diane said, pouting. "Magic isn't the answer to everything, you know." Diego told her, as he gently placed both of her legs In the water. "Ah, what are you doing?" Diane cried out, as she felt that something didn't feel quite right. "What am I doing, I am using the warm water to massage them, of course." Diego replied, while Diane failed to suppress a yawn. "I feel sleepy." Diane told him. "You did have a long day, afterall." Diego replied. "Thank you for the picnic, Diego." Diane told him. "The picnic was meant for the kids, not for you." "At least accept my gratitude!" Diane said, hitting his head with a pillow.
Not too long later, Diane was already snuggled up in her bed, while Diego covered her up in a blanket. She was already exhausted, while the warm water therapy made her drowsiness even worse. She insisted on hearing on Diego's childhood, and denied the the fact that she was sleepy, but Diego was not letting her have her way. After covering her up, Diego closed the bedroom door quietly.

"Egiel." Diego called, as he walked down the corridors. In no time, a young man with jet black hair seemingly emerged from the shadows. "You summoned me?" He asked. "Come to my office, and.. bring that wine with you."
While Diego sat in his office, he heard a knock on the door. "Come in." Diego mindlessly said, assuming it to be Egiel. The door got pushed open, and it was Egiel, but there was another. No, it wasn't the wine. "Natasha? Why are you up so late?" Diego said, as she stepped into the office, placing the bottled wine on the table, alongside two tumblers. "What a question, to drink with you, of course! Or am I not allowed to?" She said, as she sat down. "I am sorry, but she insisted.." Egiel began to explain. "That's fine." Diego said, waving his hand impatiently, dismissing him. "Take care, my lord." Egiel said, as he let the two be to the company of their wits.
"It's been so long since I had a drink like this!' Natasha said, almost screaming. "Are you sure you are not drunk?" Digeo asked her quizzically. "I am not!" Natasha said. "I have a high tolerance for alcohol, you know." She added. "This isn't your regular alcohol." Diego reminded her. "What's the name again? Marcelona?" She asked. "Marovona." Diego corrected. Natasha reached for the bottle for more. "I think you've had enough." He said, placing it out of her grasp. "Says the one who was overprotective earlier." Nataha said, with a weird expression on her face. Diego sighed, and poured her another glass, much to the latter's delight. "You make me regret ever disclosing it to you." Digeo lamented, knowing quite alright he will be teased about it for a long time. "So, what did they talk about?" Natasha said, resting her head on her chin. "You think If I knew, I would have this alcohol by my side?" Diego asked, after which he took a swig. "If you ask me, you are overreacting. I don't think Thaniel is that kind of a man. So what if he tutored her a little? It's okay, I am fine with it." Natasha said. "There are some parts of Thaniel you are not aware of, though." Diego said. "Like?" Natasha probed. Diego averted his eyes. "It's too gruesome to remember. And it's not about the tutelage." He said. "What, then?" "It's the way she looked at him. The way her eyes sparkled each time." He said. "Gosh, you make it seem like she is cheating on you or something. Diane's eyes always sparkle- when she hears something fascinating, or learns something new." Natasha said. "Yes but..." Diego was about to launch another counter attack, but Natasha cut him off. "Diego, the way you keep going on and on about this incident, are you sure you aren't entertaining feelings for Diane?"
