In the world, various events take place, whether good or bad, and people may either stay aware of these events or remain completely oblivious to them. However, in a modern society where cameras are everywhere capturing photos or videos of heroes, the news of these events spreads like wildfire in a forest—news travels incredibly fast.

On every television, every radio in the world, on every person's phone, and through any form of communication, the news of a supposed attack on a kindergarten spread rapidly.

Anyone who sees this news will be shocked, frightened, and shaken. They can't imagine what those poor children have just endured due to an alleged attack by a supervillain. No one could have imagined that someone would be capable of doing something so horrible.

There is a wide variety of supervillains worldwide who engage in truly terrible activities, many of which are better left unmentioned. But among all these heinous acts, attacking a school of young children just beginning their lives was something people wanted to believe was fake news.

Many people thought this way, but for those who know the true dark side of the world, this news might only surprise them slightly—not because of the attack on young children, but because it was carried out in broad daylight and, above all, in front of a large audience.

The media and news outlets rushed to the scene like moths to a flame. This was a major story, and no one wanted to miss the opportunity to record it. Police and heroes began to manage the situation, allowing paramedics to do their work.

The news instantly spread throughout the city, and many curious onlookers decided to come to the scene to see what had just happened. Among them were the families of the children—parents arrived as quickly as they could, fearful that something might have happened to their child.

Upon arriving at the school, many parents' hearts broke at the sight of the children. Some were crying, others were unconscious, and some were unresponsive. This shattered the hearts of everyone present, especially the parents.

The children were taken to every hospital in the city to determine their health status. Although it was reported that their lives were not at risk, there was concern about potential psychological trauma. Fearing for the children's well-being, the heroes cleared the streets to ensure ambulances could transport them as quickly as possible. Not only ambulances, but patrol cars and even some heroes personally transported the children.

In one of the ambulances heading to the hospital, Sukuna sat in one of the seats surrounded by other children. Slightly opening his left eye, he saw some of the children unconscious and others in a state of shock.

Swallowing hard at the thought of what he had done earlier, he closed his eye and decided to stay as calm as possible. Several minutes passed, and soon they arrived at the hospital. Nurses and doctors rushed out to handle the situation, each taking a child to examine them.

Chaos ensued in the hospitals—doctors were rushing in and out to attend to the children, while some parents were frightened, distraught, and deeply concerned about their children's condition. Nurses and police officers tried to maintain order but began losing control until the heroes arrived to restore calm.

Soon, each family was allowed to visit their child in one of the hospital rooms. Many cried tears of joy upon seeing their child unharmed, while others felt a deep sadness at the lingering fear evident in their child.

However, one family was particularly worried and distressed about their son. In one of the hospital rooms, a tall man with brown hair and glasses stood next to a blonde woman who was trying to comfort their child with a hug.

They were Masaru Bakugo and Mitsuki Bakugo, the parents of Katsuki Bakugo. They had rushed out of work and hurried to the hospital where their son was. Overcome with anxiety, they entered the room to see their son, but the sight only heightened their concern.

They found Katsuki sitting on the bed, hugging his knees with a fearful expression, muttering something under his breath. They tried to talk to him and offer a hug, but just as they were about to touch him, Katsuki jumped off the bed and moved as far away from them as he could.

With heavy breathing, his eyes darting everywhere, and his arms and legs trembling uncontrollably, Katsuki's condition deeply worried his parents. While Katsuki was somewhat aware of his surroundings and the situation, the fear he felt was something he could not shake.

It was as though darkness itself had enveloped him, a coldness that made his entire body shiver. The overwhelming urge to run as far away as possible consumed him. Those chilling words echoed in his mind, but what terrified him the most was that smile—a wide, unnerving grin, radiating satisfaction and delight at the fear of others.

He couldn't erase that smile from his mind. It wasn't just any scary smile; it was one that carried the unmistakable impression of someone who had done this kind of thing many times before—and truly enjoyed it. The eyes that accompanied the smile were filled with madness.

Just thinking about it made Katsuki Bakugo's face grow even paler, and his body began to collapse from fear. Alarmed, Bakugo's parents called for a doctor while gently picking him up to lay him back on the bed.

Meanwhile, Sukuna, who was also in a hospital room, was being hugged tightly by Ayame. She, like many others, had rushed from work in tears upon hearing the news. As she anxiously checked Sukuna's condition, she felt a wave of relief wash over her upon realizing that he was unharmed and had only fainted. The heavy burden she had felt when she first received the news disappeared instantly, though her concern for him lingered.

-----

Several days had passed, and most of the children had been discharged to return home, though some remained in the hospital at their parents' request. The school had been temporarily closed while authorities investigated the villain's attack on the kindergarteners.

Sukuna sat in his apartment's living room, where several cuts in the walls were visible. Some of the damage had been patched with cement, but one room still bore the marks of an intense fight.

He was alone in the apartment, despite Ayame's insistence on staying to care for him. Sukuna had eventually convinced her to return to work, though she agreed to leave early to spend time with him.

Sukuna found himself in a bit of a dilemma. He knew something had happened to him at the school—there was a moment when he was aware of what was happening but couldn't react. The sensation he experienced upon seeing Bakugo scared was strangely enjoyable. He relished how Bakugo's arrogant expression had turned into one of fear.

However, Sukuna had gone too far, causing many of the children to experience intense fear. It seemed Bakugo had not revealed his involvement yet, and perhaps he never would—after all, who could recover easily from such a traumatic event?

A five-year-old boy nearly caught in a ritual where death was guaranteed and escape seemed impossible. Frustrated, Sukuna scratched his head, got up from the couch, and grabbed a drink to cool off and relax.

Walking around the apartment with a glass of apple juice in his hand, Sukuna stopped by a window where, weeks earlier, the jade dogs had delivered some critical news. Approaching the window, he gazed into the distance at the place where his second finger was supposedly located.

After staring for a moment, he turned back toward the apartment. Looking down near his right foot, he moved it slightly backward, placing it over the shadow cast by the wall.

Taking a sip of his apple juice, Sukuna lifted his right foot and slowly lowered it. When it touched the ground, it passed through, descending deeper and deeper. Just as his foot reached halfway through, he pulled it out of the shadow.

Turning back to look at the location of his finger, an idea crossed his mind. He downed the rest of his apple juice, ran to the kitchen to put the glass away, and headed to his room. Opening his closet, he began searching for specific clothes.

Time passed, and the entire room was covered with clothes scattered everywhere. On his bed, however, lay a dark sweater and matching dark pants. These were both items Sukuna had desired: the pants he had picked out during a visit to the mall, and the sweater was a gift from Ayame, who had noticed how much he liked the pants and decided to complete the set for him.

Though this detail might seem trivial, Sukuna cherished having the sweater. Looking at the state of his room, he started tidying up and putting away the clothes he had pulled out. Once he finished, he glanced at his desk and saw that the clock read 1:00 p.m.

Calculating the time, Sukuna realized Ayame would be finishing work early and would likely come to his apartment soon. However, his attention lingered on the clock, particularly on the hours between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. An idea sparked in his mind, and he let out a small chuckle.
