Athena couldn't describe what she was feeling at this moment, she thought it was gonna take weeks or months to meet her mate but a day haven't even passed but she have found her mate. She couldn't resist but to touch the fur of the wolf which in return lowered it head to brush against Athena's face, this was a joyful moment a smile crossed Athena's mouth her heart felt at peace 'I've found my home' she thought feeling happy.
Prince George changed back to his human form revealing his chest which had 6 packs with muscles so attractive that girls couldn't help but to drool, his eyes were still cold but they contained a hint of warmth suddenly he smiled looking at his mate who was still dazed. He was satisfied with his mate Athena was beautiful especially her eyes which seemed to tempt him, 'look at our mate ,look at her' Prince George's wolf mood could be said to be over the moon.
Prince George reached out his hand to brush Athena's face "Mate" he said with his deep voice which woke Athena from her dazeness she blushed looking at Prince George her heart couldn't stop beating fast, suddenly she was pulled into Prince George's arms who after that looked at the sky howling in happiness, the other pack members followed his lead and howled expressing their happiness that their prince have found his mate.
"It going down soon" said the guy in his early thirties sitting the front while looking at Athena and George.
"Ouh what do you mean brother?" a guy sitting next to him asked.
"Don't tell me you don't see her approaching the couple" the guy said laughing looking forward to show that was about to happen, the other guy followed the suit before commenting "George I didn't think you would be so foolish to make such mistake brother".
Feeling the warmth of George's embrace Athena was very happy, 'so this is how it feels like to have a mate I'll enjoy this feeling' she thought to herself touching George's neck pulling his more closer who in turn laughed indulging to this strange feeling he was feeling. The two mates embraced each other like they were unaware of the crowd they were in but it is said that good things never last.
"George what happening here" a soft, delicate voice sounded interrupting two people in their own world. George froze hearing the voice and frowned,it was obvious that Athena noticed something wrong she looked at where the voice was coming from, infront of her was an Omega who seemed 7 or 8 months pregnant.
"I was looking for you, who is this girl you are holding" the girl said with a cracking voice looking like she might cry anytime soon and yes tears started rolling off her eyes looking very pitful holding her pregnant tummy, George removed his hands from Athena looking at the pregnant Omega sighing.
"Uhm mate who is she??" Athena took it to herself to ask the difficult question when she sensed George's mood changing very fast from happy to well Athena couldn't really discern the mood.
"My kind I'll like to apologize for doing this but the celebration is over everyone should go to their houses" The Alpha King spoke everyone didn't want to leave ,they were very curious on who is this pregnant Omega calling their prince by name even questioning him like she have been wronged but they had to comply with their Alpha King's word.
10 minutes roughly passed and the hall was now empty leaving only the Alpha King, Omega Queen, the three brothers and two sisters, the pregnant Omega, George and lastly Athena who was feeling anxious while speculating.
"Let sit down everyone" The Alpha King said leading everyone to the table everyone took their sit, The King and the Queen sat next to each other then the siblings. Athena sat next to her mate and the pregnant Omega didn't sit down.
"I want to sit next to George" the pregnant Omega said with a low voice and it became awkward because Athena was sitting next to George rightfully as her mate, she looked at George then the lady then moved her eyes to the big tummy...
"Who is she??" Athena looked at George questioning him while standing up.
"5 years ago my father decided to send to Mr to training so that ill be able to lead our pack, everything was going good 3 years passed and it was time to come back but on the way back me and my guards were attacked, my guards died and I was badly injured but I was fortunate enough to be saved by the White pack in the southern continent that where I met Aurora she was the daughter of the Alpha King there. We started off as being friends as the White pack was helping me find a way back here, 1 year passed with few months. Aurora underwent heat in my presence there was no other way I..."
"You slept with her and she became pregnant " Athena said cutting George off ,he looked at him in the eyes then looked away she continued and said "I need to go back now my King" with that she took off running away.
Pain, Athena felt an unimaginable pain she felt betrayed her heart was so uncomfortable tears rolling off her cheeks as she ran straight to her house ignoring anyone stopping her asking what wrong, why her...why was it her who always did not have things going her way, she threw herself in bed crying painfully letting all her emotions out. She felt someone hugging her and this is the scent she will never forget even though she smelled it today, she tried to push him away but George strengthen his arms around her not allowing her to break away, hearing and seeing his mate crying like this because of him pained him.
"Why?" Athena questioned him crying, her mate had betrayed their bond ,the bond that was created by moon goddess her mate betrayed that bond, she was heartbroken.
