Hao Yi sneered as he eyed Li Feng being driven away.
"Kid, you think you can compete with me for a woman?"
"I'll go handle this and come right back," Li Feng stood up, pushing his chair away, while Hao Yi laughed mockingly at his pretentious act.
"Really putting on a show."
After speaking, Hao Yi squinted towards Wang Jin'er, "Miss Wang, I'm really sorry that such a lowlife disrupted our pleasant meal."
"But aside from that, this poor guy really isn't a match for Miss Wang. You deserve a much better life."
"Oh."
Wang Jin'er listened absently, her gaze drifting towards Li Feng walking with the restaurant manager; surely he wasn't actually being thrown out.
Had he suddenly appeared because he was following her?
And what did his words mean? He couldn't possibly think she would do something to betray him, could he?
