Few hours later towards midnight. Scarlett drove through the quiet streets toward the dock. The message she received earlier weighed heavily on her mind. Nathan sat beside her, his hand gripping the edge of his seat.
"This is reckless, Scarlett. We don't even know who sent that message or what they want yet, we are going there blind with no insurance of safety." Nathan said, his voice a low growl.
"We can't afford not to find out. It's better to find everything possible now than regret not taking the chance to find out when we have the chance," Scarlett replied, her eyes focused on the road.
"Whoever it is knows something. I won't run away from this… not now not ever. We haven't been running away before we won't start now" She said her voice filled with determination.
Nathan sighed, running a hand through his hair.
"Fine, but we do this together. No splitting up." He said fixing his eyes back on the road.
