The West estate loomed under the soft glow of the moon. Inside, Richard West sat at the head of a dining table, he has a firm expression as he stared at Alex Carter, who sat comfortably across from him. Alex relaxed in his chair, he sipped the wine in his glass.
"You're being too forceful, Alex, the board members are starting to question your decisions." Richard said.
Alex chuckled. "The board needs to realize that real change comes from taking risks, no big or huge achievement comes easy. They'll come around once they see the success. Trust me."
Richard's fingers folded into a fist on the table. "And what about my son? Nathan isn't out of the picture yet, you know. Your risky moves could put us all at risk."
