(Chapter Start)
Looking down at the Omnitrix, Ray looked through its catalog of aliens available.
[Heatblast - Blitzwolfer - Diamondhead - XLR8 - Four Arms - Upgrade - Spidermonkey - Big Chill - Echo Echo - Wildvine]
[Unlocked Forms: Graymatter - X - X - X - X]
Ray nodded to himself. "I didn't get the original set of 10, but I had to make sure I got Graymatter; He's one of the most useful aliens I can ever get my hands on."
Thinking about transforming, the watch face popped up, ready to activate. Twisting it a few times before slapping it back down, a pulse of energy was sent through his body.
Following this pulse, his body rapidly transformed into a tall, raptor-like form. XLR8.
Using the Omnitrix, Ray located his first task as a hero: a nearby gang fight.
Blurring away, it wasn't long before he arrived at the scene. Taking note of the area, Ray made a mental note that there were about 20 thugs shooting at each other. A bigger gang in a group a third their size, and by the looks of it the smaller one had several cases that the other wanted.
In a flash, all of their weapons disappeared, leaving them looking around in confusion before one by one they started disappearing. Freaking out, they tried to run away, but they all mysteriously found themselves standing within a jail cell.
Blurring back to the scene of the fight, Ray dusted his hands off before snatching the goods and stashing them back at his base.
Running back out, he soon came across a fire. Slapping his chest, a red flash of energy changed him into a bigger form.
"Big Chill!"
Smirking a bit from the excitement, Ray flapped his big leathery wings, which took him into the building.
Turning himself intangible, he began the work of putting the flames out with his ice, stopping the spread first then working back to the source.
By the time he was done, he had just enough juice left in the watch to transform into XLR8, get everyone out in a flurry of blurs, and get out of there before his identity was discovered.
Atop a tall building, his form flashed again, turning him back into a human. "I don't know if I'll ever get over how cool that is."
Shaking his head, Ray decided to take a rest to here while he had to wait out the recharge period of the Omnitrix. Sitting with his feet dangling over the ledge, he watched as the paramedics rushed around helping people. Then Ray noticed the firemen scratching their heads while looking at the frosted over building and started laughing.
"Well at least it's not rubble right about now."
Glancing a the system window, Ray noticed that he had already taken in quite a bit of Mission Points.

"...Holy shit that's a lot of points! That's what...103 people?" Ray's eyes widened as he truly realized how many people he had pulled out of the building.
"I hope this Mission is permanent so I can keep racking in Points like this..."
BEEP BEEP
Glancing down at the Omnitrix, Ray could see that it's symbol had regained it's usual red glow. "Still weird that I got a red one, but I'm not gonna complain or anything."
Transforming into XLR8, Ray blurred back to his hideout, where he spent the rest of the night.

(Short time skip)
Over the past week, Ray had accomplished more tan he thought he would. First of all, he had bought an apartment in uptown New York, it was essentially a penthouse all to himself.
It had a master bedroom, two guest bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a weightroom with a full array of machines to use, and a massive living room with a TV that was way too big for any purpose.
Currently, Ray was surfing the internet. So far, the people were taking his influence pretty well, only a few groups being against him helping out.
The first and biggest population of people were the ones that loved the fact he was helping out. Most of these were people who he had saved, or those close to them.
This group included most news stations that mentioned the various forms he had taken, though it was just now being theorized that all these random aliens could be the same person.
Which is a little surprising seeing as how he had switched a few times in front of a crowd before.
Anyway the other group was led by none other than J Jonah Jameson, New York's biggest and most influential hater. When he listened in, Ray noticed that Triple J would often go back and forth between Spiderman and him... with a surprising amout of cursing for national television.
Glancing at his status, Ray nodded to himself, happy at how much he had grown in just a week.
It was just then that the Omnitrix lit up, and a hologram appeared from it's face.
"Hmm... a fascinating world I find myself in." A galvan in the spitting image if Asmuth muttered to himself before turning to Ray. "Hello to you, child, I am known as A-8658, an Ai created by the First Thinker. But for simplicity's sake, call me Azmuth."
Ray was floored by this change of events. So much in fact that he had no words to say at all, which made Azmuth frown.
"Well? Anything to say? At all?"
Shaking from his surprise, Ray quickly greeted the galvan. "It's nice to finally meet you Azmuth, but why didn't you show yourself before?"
(LN/Letter's Note- If there's a misspelling anywhere, lemme know and I'll fix it [/ββ]/ )
Azmuth shrugged. "I am a protocol that is only to be activated in the event that the original Azmuth is in a separate universe or otherwise unavailable."
That... made sense.
"But worry not, I was created to have the same intelligence as the original and will be able to assist you. Though whether you are worthy of this creation is to be determined." Azmuth's stern voice echoed out in the penthouse.
Ray nodded. "That's going to be great. Speaking of, when will I be able to unlock Master Control?"
Azmuth didn't respond, merely laughing before his hologram disappeared.
"Yeah, kind of expected that."
