Emily's POV
Everyone talks about how special weddings are, well i'm about to experience what they were gushing about. Its my wedding today and the happiness i feel is only because i'm tying the knot with the man of my dreams. We've been dating for the past four years and Ethan has been nothing short of amazing, even though dating a neurosurgeon isnt fun always because why is my man in the theatre on a saturday morning instead of in bed with me.
Everything is set for our big day, my sister is busy gushing over how pretty my custom made wedding gown is, shes always wanted to see me wear Vera Wang for my big day. So here i am, my gown is fitted in the bodice with a cowl neck. It flutters to the ground in a beautiful cascade of silk, the back is dropped to almost the wait line in a modestly seductive way, Ethan doesnt know what will hit him today.
Something is wrong, its 10 minutes before i walk down the aisle, i havent spoken to my fiance since this morning because i want to keep the tension simmering. I feel a sudden rush of sickness, but i just chuck it all to wedding jitters. My mom comes into the room with glistening eyes, fakes a smile and asks my sister to meet her outside, i dont know whats happening but everyone is coming in and going out in a rush, and that isnt excitement i see on their faces, its pity. "Whats going on?" I ask but no one is answering. By the time my sister comes back inside, shes hysterical, i get so scared, im shivering at this point inside a chilly room. Some seconds pass and i get the worst news a bride wants to hear on her wedding day,"Ethan was in an accident."
