My whole new family spent what felt like the rest of the day at these hot springs. Mum sighed as the warm water hit her skin.
"I'm not as young as I once was," She muttered. Lin and I giggled and splashed water at her. She suddenly grinned and we started to splash back and forth.
"We ask that you refrain from excessive splashing," I looked up to see Kit barely containing her smile.
I had the strangest impulse to splash her, but thankfully I tapped down on it.
"I wanted to invite you three to join us tonight for our berry hunt," She said, "It's one of the duties we all share around here."
"I can go," Mum said, "But my girls are too young, my sons might be interested though."
Kit nodded, "I think they were the ones who splashed water at me."
Only now did I notice she was already dripping.
"That sounds like them," Mum nodded, I could tell she was trying to sound all stern but really she wanted to laugh.
