Samuel's POV
I was happy today, I mean who wouldn't be , I got my ex back after our disagreement I was hurt then but now she's back to me
Looking around, I realized I haven't seen a particular person today , just as I was thinking about her I saw her trying to slip past me and Elizabeth, I know she and Lizzy probably hates each other right now because I could practically feel the glares that lizzy was throwing her way that's not important right now
*hey, where have you been all day?, I haven't seen you around "
"uh,I have been having classes because we are in school if you didn't realise that and it's not my fault if your eyes weren't working cause I attended all my classes today " she said while rolling her eyes
She only does that when she's pissed at me, then I decided to push her buttons a little bit more because why not, she looks cute when she's mad
" I know you're in school cause I'm also here and my eyes are working perfectly fine" I say with a smirk , she was about to respond when she got interrupted by the teacher
"Angel, Samuel and Elizabeth care to tell the class why you're standing and talking while the class is starting?"
She apologized and went to her seat while I followed Lizzy to our spot , I tried taking to her by sending paper planes but she still wasn't telling me what was wrong with her, I decided to leave her alone and talk to her when the class was over. But I didn't even get a chance to call her aside because she basically sprinted out of class immediately the bell rang
Surprised at her unusual behavior, I decided to text her instead because Lizzy wasn't letting me go after her cause she clung unto me and she wasn't letting me go, I texted her a lot but she wasn't replying neither was she picking my calls .
Feeling frustrated, I sent Lizzy home and decided to pay Angel a visit to figure out what was wrong
I went to her house, her parents welcomed me like always and told me she was in her room, I went upstairs and knocked on her door. I heard her shout come in after seconds of silence
" I was gonna enter even if you said I couldn't come in" I say while glaring at her
"why are you here ?" She asks
"You weren't picking my call, why did you do that ?, and you have been avoiding me also "
"I wasn't avoiding you ..."
" oh really, then what were you doing ?, playing hide and seek ?" Feeling frustrated with all what had happened, I was starting to get antsy
"Why do you even care?"
Feeling confused at her question I ask "why wouldn't I care ?"
"Just go and meet your girlfriend and leave me alone"
" What do you mean?"
" I was busy"
" You were busy ?, to busy for me ?"
"No, it's just..."
" What's going on with you ?"
" you can't understand, was that the only reason you came here ?"
" so now you're also going to throw me out of your house ?" I say getting irritated
" no, I wasn't going to do that, I was just asking and am sorry for avoiding you, I had a lot on my mind and I was pissed at you "
" why?" I ask feeling curious
" seriously, why?, is that all you're gonna ask me ?, you took Elizabeth back Sammy , she cheated on you and you took her back, what if she does the same thing again?"

" really ?, she promised ?, was that not what she said before you guys started dating ?"
" stop judging her, you don't know anything " I shout regretting it not up to a second later when I see tears pooling in her eyes
" oh , I don't know anything?, fine, I know nothing but I do know that i was the one that comforted you after she cheated on your ass and if she does it again, I'm never going to comfort you" she says with tears in her eyes
" Angel , I'm very sorry, I didn't mean to...* I say feeling guilty cause I know she hates being shouted at
" I don't wanna hear it, get the hell out of my house right now, if you dont wanna get castrated" she shouts at me
The door flies open and her mother asks " who's getting castrated ?"
" Mum.....tell him to get out....., I don't wanna see him" she says in between hiccups
" I'm really sorry, Angel I didn't mean to" I try to comfort her but she wouldn't let me touch her
" Go home first and come back later, let her calm down " Aunt Blessing says
" Okay ma, Good night angel"
I reached home feeling like shit, I really hated it whenever we fought, it was like my heart was being broken, pierced back together only to be broken again .
NEXT MORNING
To say I was feeling like shit was an understatement, I hated it when me and Angel fought, it feels like my heart was breaking and being repaired only to be broken again, I wasn't able to get a wink of sleep last night, every time I close my eyes all I see is her crying face and that made me feel very bad
Preparing to go to school, I decided to call her mum
phone conversation
"hello aunt blessing"
"good morning Samuel, how was your night? " Aunt Blessing replied
" my night was so-so, yours ?"
" fine thank you"
" how's she now?"
" I won't lie to you and say she's fine because she's not , I don't know the details of what happened fully but u hurt her yesterday, she cried herself to sleep"
hearing that made me feel like jumping up a cliff and committing suicide all over again, knowing I made her cry just dampened my already sour mood
" I really want to apologize but she's not letting me "
" I'll advise to leave her alone and let her cool for a bit"
" Alright ma,thanks a lot, I really appreciate you'
"you're welcome and my regards to Suzan and Daniel"
" okay ma, bye"
I knew she was going to avoid me in school today because I deserved it though but it still hurts whenever I just think about her avoiding me because of my own stupidity
IN SCHOOL
Looking around, I try to look for angel but I can't see her anywhere around me instead my eyes land on a very disgruntled Lizzy, she came to me and latched unto my arm, turning to her, i ask;
"what's wrong babe?"
"ugh, I hate this place " she all but whines
"just tell me what happened"
"is it not that your best friend"
"Angel ?"
"who else would it be ?"
"you have seen her today ?, where did you see her?"
"hold up, I met her in my first class today, we had the same class and could you believe that she purposely humiliated me in front of everyone"
Frowning, I think about what she said, angel can never do that even if it was her archenemy that offended her
"how did that happen?"
"I saw her this morning and I asked of you and she had the guts to tell me to fuck off that she hasn't seen you and she doesn't wanna see you, then she just walked off and left me standing like a fool "
" where did you guys talk ? "
" Around the cafeteria side"
" okay" with that I take off running not even for once stopping when I heard Lizzy calling me, I know her aunt blessing said to give her space to cool down but I can't wait for her to cool down, I need to make things right because i need my best friend back
