Angel's POV
Opening my eyes, I cringe as the rays of the sunlight hit my fragile eyes, after having cried myself to sleep last night , I now have a massive headache
Pushing myself off the bed, I went to the wardrobe to get my clothes for the day, after picking out a very simple shirt and trousers, I make my way to the bathroom to freshen up.
Going downstairs, I greet my mum with a peck on her cheek and my dad also with a peck on his cheek , i make my way to the door but stopped when i heard my mum's voice
"not having breakfast?"
"yeah, I am not hungry this morning, I'll take lunch when I get back"
"you know we still have an unaddressed matter right " she says with knowing look
Trying my hardest not to roll my eyes " mum , I know I didn't forget " she was never going to let me hear the end of it, after me and Samuel's dispute she asked me what happened but I couldn't get the words out I just kept crying so she said we were gonna talk about it this morning
" bye mum, bye dad"
" wait, let me take you" dad says
"it's fine, I'll take the bus"
" okay take care darling "
Mumbling a soft " hmm" ,I turn on my heels and make my way out of the house
AT SCHOOL
My first class was just hell, coupled with my unrelenting headache I had to endure incessant chatters of the not so nice Elizabeth behind me, she just kept chattering on about the same thing like a broken record, I just wish I could use my book to slap her mouth shut but if I did that I'd have to face Samuel sooner that i wanted to, so I decided to let it pass for now and if she didn't cross me or make me mad but If she did then I am definitely seeing Samuel cause I wouldn't take it easy with her cheating ass at all and I might even get suspended cause imma flog her ass, wincing as another pang of headache hit me i stop thinking about beating anybody and focus on the class
Making my way out of class, I saw Lizzy beckoning me to come, I wanted to ignore her but I didn't really have the energy to deal with her screaming this morning so I went over
"what's it ?"
"Good morning Angel, how are you doing ?"
"we both know you don't care about that so why don't we stop wasting each other's time and get to the point so I can freaking leave and live my life in peace ?"
"Fine, I just wanted to ask you if you have seen my love today?"
Pausing, I take a moment to reply and when I do, I'm basically removing steam from my ears
" I haven't seen him and I don't even care if he's dead or not so I advise you to kindly fuck off and get. Your ugly face out of my way before I fuck you up" I glare at her before walking away
LUNCH TIME
As I sit in the cafeteria, I let my eyes wander around before I hear scraping of chair beside me, looking up i saw success smiling at me
"hey, how are you doing ?"
"I am fine, but I can't say the same about you" she says while smiling
"what ?"
"you look like you have been hit by a truck and you acted really bitchy back there in class and it was very unlike you so I decided to come check up on you"
" I am fine actually, I just couldn't get enough sleep that's all, thanks for caring "
"it's perfectly fine, what are friends for ? "
Smiling back at her, I don't bother to reply while I focus on finishing my food and getting the hell out of there cause I know if Samuel has seen his idiotic and bitchy girlfriend today, then he's definitely coming here
Finishing my plate, I stood up and returned my plate and made my way outside , I collided with a wall that was clothed ?
Looking up I realized the 'wall' I ran into wasn't a wall but rather Samuel, rage fills my eyes as I catch the guilt in his, what the heck is he doing here?, he thinks he'll just run here and I'll forgive him?, he can keep dreaming. Pushing him aside, I continue my walk to the school gate I pull out my phone and called my dad
"dad, are you coming today ?"
"no darling, I am very busy today, do you need a ride?"
my phone was snatched from me and before I could scream bloody murder I saw a smug looking samuel in front of me
"no sir, she got one already" he says to my dad
"Give me my phone you piece of shit" I scream at him
" would you calm down and let's talk?
" okay , so now I am also mad right ? "
" I never said that " he says while frowning
" you didn't need to, you always did assume you knew everything every darn time, now for once would you kindly hand me my phone and get the hell out of my face"
" I really need to talk to you kitten "
Pausing at the childhood nickname he gave me, I look up at him with angry tears
" don't call me that, don't you ever call me that"
" I am very sorry I said that to you kitten and I really regret it so please would you forgive me ? "
" I won't and I don't wanna be friends with you again "
" Kitten please I am very sorry , just let me apologize to you and give me one chance to prove how sorry I am "
Sniffling I tell him" fine, but you will leave me the fuck alone and stop disturbing me"
" okay I will, but right after I take you home"
" even if I was still mad at you, you were still gonna take me home cause you cancelled my ride home"
" yeah whatever, get in the car let's go "
