The world had faced a calamity unlike any other, beast and monsters had appeared out of portals which people started calling gates. The armed forces of humanity had tried to combat these monstrosities but they could do little harm. Humanity was pushed back, cities and countries had fallen to the droves of beast's. It looked like humanity was going to perish, an apocalypse.
They had almost given up all hope until a few humans had gone through an awakening. This phenomenon gave them super human capabilities allowing them to fight back and gave humanity a foot hold to hold onto. They established fortresses and built their cities inside of walls. New governments formed and a new age of humanity had started.
Noah Price and his sister had lost his parents who died in battle, The city was still rebuilding after the catastrophe. Because of this no one had the resources to adopt him and his younger sister. He knows that in a year he will lose the government assistance for him and his sister. He has to find a way for him and his sister to survive in this world or their lives will be a living hell.
