The servant came out to explain, "Second Lady, dinner will be ready shortly."
The woman paid no heed, and when she turned her eyes, she saw Wen Tang appear in her line of sight, gave her a dismissive glance, and began to lord over her, putting on an air of superiority as she crossed her legs and started nibbling on some snacks.
Wen Tang didn't make a sound, nor did she try to ingratiate herself. She was neither humble nor overbearing.
She had no good feelings towards this woman; she'd made her suffer enough when she was younger.
Then came an elderly person with silvery hair from downstairs.
"Grandmother, you've finally come down," Lu Nianxin hurried over to Elder Mrs. Lu's side to support her. "If you dilly-dallied any longer, your granddaughter was about to bring someone upstairs."
Elder Mrs. Lu looked puzzled, and Lu Nianxin pointed at Wen Tang, "Look who I brought."
