Chapter 9 - jade you dont take correction

"Jade, where are you coming from?" Mrs. Esther thundered, her anger palpable. "I warned you just the other day, and today you leave since morning and come back by 10:00 PM!"

"Mom, I went to visit my friends," Jade stammered, his heart racing.

Fuck, I didn't even notice it's late as this. My mom will seriously kill me, Jade thought, his anxiety spiking.

"Jade, it's not me you'll kill," Mrs. Esther snapped, her voice dripping with frustration. "Jade, how many times have I warned you? Eh, Jade, you don't take correction!" She picked up her sandals, ready to mete out punishment.

When she started,Jade was seriously rolling on the floor like a snake with its tail cut off, screaming at the top of his voice. "Dad, dad, dad! Come and help! Mommy wants to kill me!"

Drawn by the commotion,Mr Taylor went outside to check on the situation

"Ohhh, babe, leave him, take pity on him. It's your son, you know he's fragile, eh, my love?" Mr. Taylor intervened, begging his wife to stop.

Mrs. Esther finally relented, "Mom, please, I won't do it again," Jade begged, holding the sandals tightly.

"No, I want you to do it again," she teased, laughing inwardly. 'Do it, please do it.' "No, mom, I won't do it again," Jade pleaded.

"Noooo, I say continue. I will love teaching you life lessons. Don't worry, my classes are free. You will enjoy it," Mrs. Esther said, enjoying Jade's misery.

"It's okay, dear, leave the poor boy. Let's go inside," Mr. Taylor finally intervened, leading his wife away.

"Okay, okay, I've heard you. Let's go," Mrs. Esther said, leaving Jade shaken.

As soon as they left, Jade began checking his body for bruises. 'Ouch, these two spots are painful, but there are no bruises on my skin. Hmm, I just went out to meet Sun and Sin, and my mom wants to kill me.'

The sound of his phone ringing broke the spell. "Baby, are you home?" Sun asked, concern etched in his voice.

"Yes, I'm just entering my house," Jade lied, unwilling to share his embarrassing encounter.

"Oh, Jade, greet your parents for me," Sin's voice chimed in.

"Sin, why are you still at Sun's place?" Jade asked, surprised.

"I came back when I reached my estate; the main gates were locked, so I had to come back here," Sin explained.

"Don't be surprised; sometimes this bitch passes the night here. When he wakes up, he won't do anything; he'll just sit down for me to work. He's lazy," Sun joked.

"I'm not lazy; I just want my baby to do all the house chores. Imagine why I'll work when he's here," Sin retorted sweetly.

"Okay, okay, it's okay before you guys start doing lovey-dovey on the phone," Jade cut in.

"Okay, good night," Sun said.

"Sweet dreams," Sin added.

"Same," Jade replied before ending the call.
