"Serene, why did you cheat on your husband?"
Ethan had randomly asked the question on their first normal date as they sat on a beach shore, watching the sun descend.
Serene who had been questioned, hummed as she thought about the answer to such a question.
"I guess it's because I got tired of him. My husband was always business with work, barely around, barely home to touch me, so when I met you and feel in love with you at first sight, I didn't hesitate to go after what I wanted. The fact that you were handsome, rich, a well known lawyer and could afford anything I wanted, only added fuel to the fire. So yeah, I cheated." She answered so nonchalantly that Ethan had nearly thought she had done nothing wrong.
"And if you get tired of me? Are you also going to cheat on me?" He dared to ask, earning a look of offence from Serene.
"I would never cheat on you Hanny," She swore, cupping his face as she kissed his lips, passionately.
