"You know, staying in front of the station and coming into the station are two very different things."
Vanessa tackled as she and Michael walked into the premises of the restaurant Morris had driven them to.
"I said I'd come to the station, Nessa, nothing more, nothing less." Came Michael's response as they walked up to the reception to get their reserved seat.
"Are you going to be angry at me over something I didn't say?"
"I'm not that petty." Vanessa answered.
"You must have had your reasons for not coming in."
He didn't, but Michael wasn't about to say that. One thing he loved doing was letting Vanessa think she was right. It was cute seeing her look so proud of herself.
"Hello, we're here under the reservation name, Michael Hayes." He told the hostess who typed the name into her computer.
