Chapter 4 - Team (Part 3)

The Luxon District, in the south-west part of the country, home to the Light Clan, is a radiant paradise located along the breathtaking Sunset Beaches. Golden sands stretch endlessly, glowing under the perpetual hues of a twilight sky where day and night harmoniously meet. The shimmering waves reflect the warm colors of the horizon, casting an ethereal glow across the district. It is the smallest district in Eryndor, consisting of a single town and the Solaria Keep, the palace of the Light King, situated on a small island connected to the mainland by the Faith Bridge.

Solaria Keep is a luminous structure crafted from crystalline quartz and infused with the essence of sunlight. Towering spires refract beams of light, creating cascading rainbows that dance across the landscape. The Luxon District exudes peace, enlightenment, and harmony, embodying the balance of illumination and serenity cherished by the Light Clan. While the Fire Clan is known for its immense physical strength, the Light Clan is revered for their unparalleled healing abilities.

Alara, a young boy of the Light Clan, was petite and graceful, with golden hair and radiant amber eyes that seemed to glow. Warm, kind, and empathetic, Alara often acted as the moral compass of his small group of friends. He had a quiet strength but could become fiercely protective of those he cared for. Living in a quaint wooden house by the beach with his parents, Alara spent most of his time playing with his friends Mike and Todo near the sea.

One evening, as the three friends swam in the shimmering waters, a sudden cry of pain broke the tranquility.

"Ahhh!" yelled Todo.

"What happened?" Alara and Mike asked in unison.

The water around Todo turned crimson. A tiger fish had bitten his leg, and the venom had already begun to take effect.

"Mike, hold him and get him to the shore!" Alara commanded.

Together, they carried Todo to a wooden platform in front of Alara's house. Examining the wound, Alara recognized the bite of a poisonous tiger fish.

"We'll need Kampo cream," Alara said urgently.

Mike pulled a small jar from his pocket and handed it to him. Alara applied the cream and placed his hands over the wound. Concentrating deeply, he summoned his inner light and whispered, "Reiki." A glowing orb formed around the wound, pulsating with gentle energy. Within moments, the bleeding stopped, and Todo's breathing eased.

Todo stirred and murmured, "You can use Reiki now, Alara? Incredible..."

"Stop talking and take this anti-venom medicine," Alara retorted, a faint smile on his face.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, Alara's parents returned from gathering wood for the night's bonfire.

"What's going on here?" his mother asked.

"Todo was bitten by a tiger fish, but I healed him," Alara replied.

"Healed him? With Reiki?" his father exclaimed.

"Yes," Alara confirmed, though he seemed just as surprised as everyone else.

His mother's expression softened. "The Light King was right to choose you."

"Choose me?" Alara echoed, bewildered.

His father handed him a scroll adorned with the royal seal. "You've been chosen as the Light Clan's representative for Team Elemental. You must leave for Oracle's Grove tomorrow and reach there within five days."

Alara's friends erupted with cheers and congratulations. That night, they celebrated around a bonfire, feasting on freshly grilled fish. As the flames crackled, Alara couldn't help but feel the weight of his new responsibility.

-------------------------PART B starts-----------------------

The Aqual District, located in the east-central part of Eryndor, is a breathtaking region defined by its serene waterways, lush vegetation, and an air of tranquility. This district thrives around the life-giving presence of two major rivers, the Ango River and the Konga River, which meander gracefully through the land. The rivers are revered not only as vital sources of water but also as conduits of magical energy, amplifying the elemental powers of the Water Clan.

At the heart of the district lies Central Town, a vibrant hub of culture and trade. Shimmering blue and white buildings mimic the gentle flow of water, while elegant bridges and aqueducts crisscross the town, blending seamlessly with the natural beauty of the waterways. Beyond the town, near the confluence of the rivers, lies the mystical Oracle's Grove. This sacred site, with its crystalline pools and towering willows, is home to Esmerai, the Oracle, whose guidance has long maintained the harmony of Eryndor.

Overlooking the district, perched atop a hill surrounded by cascading waterfalls, is the Water King's Palace. An architectural marvel of aquamarine stone and glass, the palace resembles a wave frozen in motion. Its flowing fountains and reflective pools symbolize the Water Clan's mastery over their element.

Lira, a slender girl with flowing blue hair and piercing sea-green eyes, lived on the edge of Central Town near the Ango River. Her parents, both fishers, were proud of their resourceful and determined daughter.

One evening, as Lira hauled in her fishing net, she grinned triumphantly.

"Look, Dad! I caught a tuna!" she exclaimed.

Her parents approached, breathless from running. "Lira, you don't need to catch fish anymore," her mother said, handing her a scroll.

Lira's eyes widened as she read the message from the Water King. "What? I've been chosen?" she gasped.

Her father nodded proudly. "You'll represent the Water Clan in Team Elemental. This is your chance to fulfill your destiny."

"Tonight, we'll celebrate," her mother added, "and tomorrow, you'll set out for Oracle's Grove."

As the family prepared a feast, Lira's heart raced with excitement and apprehension. She had always dreamed of making a difference, and now the opportunity lay before her. Under the starlit sky, she vowed to bring honor to her clan and protect the harmony of Eryndor.
