-The next day of the meeting in Aqual, In Morning-
Foothills of the North-Eastern Mountain Range
"Bye, King-san," Kael said with a respectful bow.
"You can drop the formalities in this situation, you bastard!" roared the Fire King, his voice echoing across the mountains.
Kael smirked. "Alright then. Bye, Dad. I promise I'll return strong enough to protect the country."
The Fire King's tone softened as his son turned to leave. "Goodbye, my beloved son."
Kael glanced back, chuckling to himself. He sure is goofy.
With arms stretched wide, he exclaimed, "So, let's begin the journey!"
Heartwood Caverns, Forest Cave District
In the dimly lit caverns, Lyra knelt in reverence before a statue of Lord Tiger. Her parents stood behind her, their faces a mixture of pride and solemnity.
"It seems our daughter is leaving," Lyra's father said, his voice steady.
"Of course, I am, Father," Lyra replied, standing tall.
Her mother stepped forward. "Are you ready to bear the weight of the country on your shoulders?"
"Yes," Lyra said proudly.
As she exited the cavern, the leader of the Tiger Tribe emerged from the shadows, presenting her with a sword. The blade shimmered with a brown-green hue, its surface veined like ancient stone and moss. The hilt, wrapped in bark-like leather, cradled a glowing emerald.
"This sword is a masterpiece," Lyra gasped.
"Use it well," the leader said. Lyra bowed deeply before stepping into the sunlight.
Island 6, Altura District
Hordes of townsfolk gathered to bid Orion farewell.
"Bye-bye, Orion!" they called out, waving enthusiastically.
Orion waved back as he ascended the stairs to Altura Mountain. "Take care of the town in my absence! I'll be back soon."
With Kai perched on his shoulder, he paused mid-ascent. "Looks like you're excited too, Kai. Let's go!"
Tenebris Citadel, Umbra District
Outside the ominous citadel, Zara's caretaker adjusted her cloak.
"Take care, Princess Zara," he said softly.
"Thank you. And say goodbye to my father for me," Zara replied. Her voice carried a hint of melancholy as she set off into the dense Black Forest.
Dad, He's overburdened with work, she thought. But by heart, he's the best person—right, Mother?
Luxon District
Outside a quaint wooden house, Alara's parents stood with him.
"That sword in your scabbard is a royal heirloom. Take care of it," his father said.
Alara embraced his friends Todo and Mike. "Bye, everyone!" he said, his radiant smile reassuring them.
Aqual District
On the far side of the Kongo River, Lira waved to her parents.
"Bye, Dad! Bye, Mom!"
Her mother's voice carried across the water. "Go, our daughter! Fulfill your destiny."
Lira gripped the sword her parents had gifted her, its blade a symbol of their sacrifices. I will bring peace to the country with this sword, she vowed silently.
-------------------------PART B STARTS-------------------------
In the Sky Above Aqual
The Oracle floated in the air, her gaze sweeping across Eryndor.
"Everyone has departed," she mused. "Lira will reach the grove in six or seven hours. Orion might take the full five days. Each of them carries energy, but…" Her eyes narrowed as her vision focused on Kael. "The least Essentia being released is by Kael. Let's see if a little test can awaken their true potential."
Grasslands Near Pyros District
Kael trudged through the grasslands, grumbling. "I hate walking. Maybe some beasts will show up like that of yesterday and make this interesting."
High above him in the sky, the Oracle started murmuring while being interested to see what comes next "After researching on these wild beasts for days, they mostly look like gorillas in shape and white in color also it's confirmed that they are chasing Essentia (Elemental energy that every person of Eryndor have in themselves but in varied amount) , the person with more Essentia will attract more Beasts, But who created these beasts is still questioning me, if I just revolve around Kael in the sky, Beasts will come in front of Kael because of my Essentia."
The ground trembled as three white, gorilla-like beasts emerged from the tall grass.
Kael smirked. "One? No, three? Looks like my prayer was answered."
Foothills of Altura Mountain
Orion paused as a beast emerged from the shadows, its snarls echoing through the valley.
"Let's test this sword, Kai," he said with a grin. Kai screeched in agreement.
Forests Near Goe River Basin
Lira's jaw dropped as a beast emerged from the underbrush.
"What the heck is that?" she muttered, gripping her sword tightly.
Earth Clan's Forests
Lyra's lips curled into a smile as a beast stepped into her path. "My first prey," she whispered.
Black Forest, Umbra District
Zara unsheathed her blade when she saw a beast in front of her. "Space is limited here. I'll have to cut it into pieces."
Outskirts of Luxon City
Alara stared down a beast. "I can't attack here. I'll seal it and take it somewhere safer."
Altura Mountain
Orion swung his sword. "Aero Strike!" The blade connected, sending an airburst through the beast. But the beast grabbed Orion, squeezing him tightly.
"Air Veil!" Orion created a barrier of wind, forcing the beast to release him.
"Zephyr Arc!" he shouted, slashing the beast's chest. It collapsed with a gust of wind.
Grasslands
Kael faced the first beast head-on, sliding under its swing and piercing its legs.
While moving towards the other two he didn't even look at the first one to finish him "Blazing Jab!" he growled, igniting the first beast in flames.
He turned to the other two. "Kindle Cut!" He leapt, slashing their heads clean off before they can move, before the beasts hand reached Kael...
"Lava Swipe!" Molten sparks erupted as he finished them off.
Five more beasts emerged from the horizon. Kael's body ignited with a flaming aura.
"Let's go," he said with a smirk.
In the Sky
The Oracle watched, astonished.
"What the hell is happening, earlier Kael was releasing the least Essentia but now, the beasts are attracted more towards him rather than me now, I can't believe it but while fighting Kael's Essentia surpasses mine. It's like he's a walking inferno. He truly is the son of that monster, the Fire King."
...
With this, All the Elementals moved forward towards the Oracle Grove while facing the beasts and defeating them, the action continues in next chapter.
