A gravity wagon effortlessly hovered a few feet above the rugged road, gliding at an astonishing speed in almost eerie silence. The only sound was a faint hum of twisting air.
Its back was left open, showing the passenger seated inside, nearly thirty individuals seated on both sides, all clad in armor and battle gear, a few laughing and chatting to pass the time or discuss their plans, while a few were sitting in pure silence.
Nero was one of the passengers, seated at the edge of the seat, silently looking out to the distant mountain range and what lay beyond it, feeling amazed seeing the seemingly never-ending blanket of clouding darkness and crimson with hints of other colors that covered the other side.
On the other side of the Ashen mountain chain was Ashen Cradle, a massive area that stretched hundreds of kilometers and was one of the largest dead zones, areas so dangerous that they only housed little human activity.
