Nero moved closer to the wyvern in a pretense to examine it more closely, but his real goal was to check Guntar's reaction when he tried to touch it.
He approached the creature, closing the distance until his hand rested against its cold, lifeless wing. As he pressed with some force, the massive wing shifted slightly, causing a sharp sound of chains creaking under strain to fill the chamber.
He stepped back and began to look at the creature and the chains that kept it in place, then, after a moment, turned to face Guntar.
"Do you mind if I climb on top of the Wyvern," Nero said, half expecting to be declined, and seeing Guntar's expression shift, he could not help but sigh.
"There's no harm in it, so sure," Insa interrupted Guntar before he could respond. She glanced at him, her expression expectant, prompting him to shift from seriousness to a forced smile.
