RYLIE
When Silas returned later, which he did, I had been fed, had a bath, and was clothed in new clothes. My old clothes were bloody and torn, and they smelled. I was happy to be out of them and I felt stronger and better with Rayah's presence.
With Rayah's help, we moved my wardrobe barring the shattered door out of the way, the rest of the wooden door falling to the floor after we had moved its support. After a moment of catching our breaths, we both stood in the middle of my room, staring at the pile of wood.
"What now?" Rayah panted in exertion, breaking the silence. "You can't sleep here tonight." She said, shaking her head and gesturing to the splintered remains hanging on the doorframe.
