RYLIE
Tomorrow came faster than I had expected and soon, I was standing at the meeting hall, Silas and Rayah by my side. We were all involved in the incident, so we would all be present.
During my time at the farm with Rayah, Silas had fixed my door and I slept in my bed the night before. I wish he hadn't, so I could have an excuse to stay with him for longer.
"Another scarf?" Rayah teased the moment she saw me as my head and neck were once again in a wrap. Her eyes twinkled with mischief. "You're changing faster than I thought!" She wagged an accusing finger playfully.
Chuckling, I ignored her, going to the door of the meeting hall. My heart raced faster than a racetrack horse, knowing how much weight their decision today carried. Breathing deeply, and steeling myself, I pushed open the doors to the large meeting hall.
