Her name was Cindy White, a 40-year-old widow. One day evening, while she was sitting on a park bench, she heard a few tremendous firing sounds. She thought that it might be the fireworks of some celebrations. She whispered. "Everybody is celebrating their time happily and I am the lady who lives in loneliness and has nothing to be happy, just spends life in the gloomy world of sadness."
On that evening, that woody park was almost empty. Its chilled silent ambiance embraced her and refreshed her mind. She was wandering in her meaningful past where she was happy with her husband with full of dreams. But that bright time of spring has been over. Now, she is a widow who lives alone in her solitude of sadness, no bells of love are ringing for her, and no melodies of music is creating for her happiness. Her boring life extinguishes all of her hopes and happiness. Not being loved by anybody, she was living silently in her loneliness without any hope of a bright future. She wished to be loved. But at this forty she can't be a pretty dancing Cinderella or singing Juliet to attract a Romeo.
Her tight boobs and piercing romantic eyes always gave her a charming look. Her natural reddish lips like a rose petal had an enchanted beauty and her glazing cropped blond hair had an attractive look. During her outings, she used to wear colorful costumes with flowered Victorian silk hats of a different style. On her every outing, her eyes anxiously searched for a lover. But that desire remained unfulfilled until the arrival of the revolutionary guards who conquered her city. Till that time, no interesting face followed her, no sweet voice she could hear as she wished. Like a hopeless desert walker, she kept moving ahead with the hope of seeing an oasis of love.
"Nobody would be interested in me. I will remain alone in my dark solitude until I die." She said to herself. The murmuring trees in the singing breeze consoled her weeping mind. She looked at the horizon which was filled with scattered clouds of different colors. She found the face of sadness in that gloomy scene. That sight led her to the past, She went far away beyond the melting mind and found the different faces of life. She tried to recognize her face among them. While she watching the horizon silently, she heard a choir chant from the nearby church.
"What a lovely chant is that!" She whispered and closed her eyes for a few moments. She felt a little relieved, a holy consolation. That devotional song led her into a slight daze. In that daze she had a beautiful dream, her lover came with flowers. She knew the footsteps of her lover coming to her side and the scent of love flowers. Suddenly, she woke up and opened her eyes.
The dream was realized! But, instead of the lover, she saw some soldiers standing beside her with pointed guns.
She stood up in fright.
"Hello madam, Fear not, we are not here to harm you. We are the revolutionary guards fighting against the corrupted government. In a horrible battle, we have taken control of this city." Commander of the gang told in a powerful voice. "Now you are under our custody. Come on with us to be part of the revolution and serve your country."
The frightened Cindy couldn't speak a word. All of her dreams melted off in those fearful moments. When she stared at them unemotionally, they led her to their vehicle.
