Chapter 34 - One shot

Sion's eyes widened as he stared at the scene before him and Vicana stayed in his spotted, rotted by the earth wall he had created around Zena and his eyes narrowed as his gaze shifted between them, the creature and Sion.

Sion looked at the creature knowing that things had just gotten a lot more complicated for them all and he exhaled deeply as he stayed rotted in his spot as well, despite the fact that the creature already sensed and knew where he was.

Vicana wondered what he was doing, as the others stood back up, some of them injured and Lilian rushed to heal them, despite having a few bruises herself.

"Sion, what are you going to do?" Nethaniel asked, as the creature was looking around, picking up on the various amount of heat signatures around it and they exchanged glances.

"Nethaniel, this just got a lot more complicated and so did our original plan of getting rid of it permanently, it can detect heat signatures, it is why it was able to injure you guys just now without trying too hard," He responded and Nethaniel's eyes widened slightly, for that was not something that he was expecting in the slightest.

They all looked at each other wondering what to do next and Sion and Nethaniel stepped forward and Sion's eyes glowed slight, drawing the creature's attention towards him, as he used his flames to creature more heat around him.

"Trying to get yourself killed?" Nethaniel asked as he increased the heat his body was giving off as well, using his abilities and Sion looked at him then chuckled.

"Oh, I have no intention of dying I have much to do and learn as yet and a long way to go, now, don't I?" Sion asked with a glance at Zena and her cheeks flushed slightly as she glanced away and he tilted his head.

'What the hell was that?! Why did I blush?' She wondered as she swallowed, then slowly looked in his direction again, as he was now focused on the creature and her eyes narrowed as she wondered what it was about him that made her feel weird.

"Let's do it," Sion said and Nethaniel nodded as his eyes narrowed and his aura flared.

The creature turned in his direction, but at the same time, Sion's aura flared as well, causing the creature looked between the two, confused as to which to focus on, which was exactly what they wanted and planned to use to their advantage.

At the same time, Aina who was had disappeared a while ago, crawled back up on his neck and he glanced at her as her eyes were glowing slightly.

"I will help you, I can sense your energy from a mile away, I can tell that me being by your side is going to be worth it, so after this, tame me as well, give me a name I deserve," She said as a mark appeared around his right wrist.

The mark was in the form of a tattoo band, not big or small, it looked like a design, but it was actually words in a different language.

As confused as Sion was with her words, he did not bother to ask questions at the time, but he could feel a small amount of energy coming from the mark, which he intended to address earlier.

"Fine, I will tame you, do what you want," He said and she chuckled then nodded.

At the same time, the creature rushed towards Nethaniel and Sion rushed forth, attacking it, causing it to get distracted and Nethaneil did the same, confusing it more than it already was, due to which its ability to sense them, to pick up on heat signatures was getting blurry, from too many different things around it.

Nethaniel used his attacks on the creature and Aina's eyes glowed bright blue as a flame aura of blue stretched off of her and attached itself onto one of the creature's limbs in a burning sensation, causing the creature to whimper slightly.

Sion glanced at her, but he did not stop or say anything to her as yet and upon seeing that Zena's eyes widened, for she could see the creature by Sion's neck, with a look that almost looked like recognition in her eyes, yet she said nothing, just watched quietly and hoping they would be able to defeat the creature soon.

Sion was about to attack the creature once more when it roared and balls of acid looking balls began forming around it, shooting in different directions and they dodged it.

Vicana stretched the wall that he had creature earlier, reaching towards Lilian as Ash's eyes glowed and a form of containment energy formed around the creature's mouth.

Sano rushed forth and vines began cracking the floor as they shot up from the ground and his eyes glowed green as they wrapped around the creature's limb, keeping it rotted in the spot for the time being.

However, the creature was strong and they knew they would not be able to last much longer if something was not done as soon as possible.

"Sion, we will not be able to hold it for much longer, you need to hurry up and do whatever it is that you want to do, this bastard is as ugly as it is strong," Sano said and despite the serious situation, a few of them bit back a laugh.

"Alright, tilt its head upwards so when it opens its mouth, that will be my chance," Sion said and both Sano and Ash did as he instructed them to do as the creature's eyes and body began glowing.

"Guys, hurry up!" Lilian shouted.

At the same time, Ash and Sano released it as it opened its mouth to attack.

Sion and Nethaniel rushed forth, jumping up in the air, aiming their combined attack, directly into the center of the creature and Sio's flame mixed with a blue hue as they released their attacks at once.

The creature's body puffed as it glowed brighter and it roared as it engulfed into flames from within, causing the room to shake and a loud explosion occurred, sending Sion and Nethaniel crashing across the floor.
