Sapnap was in disbelief. the essempi... was dragging them into war!? but they hadn't don't anything! at least not to them! sapnaps hands clenched. skeppy spoke once more
"kid, don't do something you'll regret. they have a reason and are invite me or your dad to go find it out"
"No!! thats going to be a trap-"
sapnap was cut off by bad hold a hand up.
bads eyes narrowed "no more arguing sap. I will be going. and your father will be in charge, I expect you to stay in your room" Sapnaps face turned to disbelief.
"We're being forced to go to war and I'm still being kept in my room!?"
"Yes. that is what I said."
Sapnap couldn't believe this. he gritted his teeth. they could not be serious could they!?
"youve got to be kidding me! I can help let me help out!"
"no. as the sole heir your job is to be safe."
Sapnap hated this. he could do more if they just let him! after a few more minutes of bickering between sapnap and bad. sapnap was dragged to his room. he needed to find a way out. and soon.
sapnap was starfished on his bed. he could feel the steam rising. no one would disterbe the prince after a argument between him and his fathers. so sapnap had the day to himself. he was bored and fuming. he wasn't being allowed to go he couldn't believe this! he can do it he just needed a chance to prove himself! he grabbed the blankets tighter. then he let go. he got an idea. what's stopping him from.. climbing off the balcony? there was nothing stopping him
sapnap grabbed his plethera of blankets. tearing and tying them together. he needed to get a way out. even if its just for the hour or day. he needed out. sapnap heard someone coming and he shoved the torn blankets into his closet as a maid walked in.
"what."
"sire, your lunch."
he watched as she put a tray of food. perhaps he should eat something before he left.
"thank you. your dismissed."
he watched as she left. he went to look at the balcony. where can he throw the makeshift rope so he can still climb up it.....
sapnap froze. there was a vine going to his window.. he felt like such and idiot. he ate the sandwhiches before climbing up onto the railing of the balcony. he was going to do this. he had a money pouch, a cloak. those were common if you were someone not wanting to be caught.
and with hope in his heart and determination in his eyes. he grabbed onto the vine. and started climbing down.
